Well not sure now. 1st goal is going to be vital. Us and we can win it . Norwich and it will be an ugly day. How the players react to the manager situation will be key but the timing of this is just horrible. I’ll go draw but deflated and not at all confident now.
Manager might be gone, players might be down so it's up to us all to let them know the club and we are still here and will back them to the hilt as long as they put a shift in
Just changed my vote from a draw to an away win, with Dodds and Proctor in charge I can see a very heavy defeat unfortunately.
I am going for a win and a performance from the players that says Alex who? I can see the likes of Gooch and Pritchard and Wright being massive leaders on the pitch tomorrow. These lads didnt sign for Alex Neil, they wont feel an ounce of regret over him, they will drag the young lads up. Remember, most of the lineup tomorrow didnt sign when Alex Neil was in charge, they predate him.
In fairness, if we get beat heavily tomorrow, it won't be the fault of Dodds and Proctor. I doubt anyone can lift the team overnight after what's happened today.
We’ll learn a lot about this side tomorrow. Easy to drop heads after todays events, but who really fancies it? Ha’way the lads
RTB Well well, Fcuk knows, manager has a row with the suits and gets his horse down the old town Road.
If they are in charge tomorrow and pick anything other than the same formation and line up as the last couple of games they are even a pair of ****ing idiots.
It must be a case of same team as last week- go out and enjoy - show everyone the progress is down to you players , not just the ex manager. To try and change set up and way to play in 24 hours , at most one training session, if that, would surely be madness . Can even Safc be that mad . ? Thanks as always RTB
Way to kill the mood Alex / Kristjaan. I hope that you lads and lasses going tomorrow can pick yourselves up, find some positivity and have a good day. We have got a young, talented team and the club is in great shape. There was a massive hiccup last season and it turned round into being a fantastic one. Let’s go again.
The Sunderland crowd are often at their best when things look bleak ... ... I think we'll show our pride and defiance tomorrow. Ha’way Sunderland.
I'm with you mate. If we start well and the players are flying into tackles and giving their all the crowd will respond. An early goal and a couple of crunching tackles and the place will be bouncing
