As I said earlier, there should be a queue of managers lining up to manage us. Instead of wallowing they need to move on and do it quickly. I really hope this doesn’t put the transfers we have lined up in jeopardy though. Looking more and more like he’s gone for the money, and reports are coming out that we haven’t even tried to match Stoke - which if he has I’m not sure how much we can blame him. We all go to work for money at the end of the day and we’d all ditch a sh*te contract for a better paid, longer contract. Just hope the fact the club aren’t trying to match Stoke means they have someone else lined up, and someone better.
the statement will be that he's left, it wont be left hanging it made no sense to me he was travelling there to talk. not in todays age. he'll be travelling there as the deal is done. probably even signed the contract digitally. just gone there for some photos and his little smug smile I used to love.
totally accept that managers move clubs, but as you say, the manner that this has happened has left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Bid came in for Stewart which could be accepted has set all this off along with Neil feeling he hasnt been backed
If that is true then I don't blame him, if we sell Stewart we can give up on getting anywhere at any point.
It will be those two most likely but I'd rather they just let Bailey Wright or Goochy do it, the prep will be done for tomorrow, dont need those 2 confusing the **** out of the players, and then get someone in sharpish for Rotherham. They need to act very quickly now.
Loved him as our manager but absolutely fuming at the minute regardless of what the club has done the timing and manner of his leaving is shocking. No respect for the man
I wouldn't be surprised if we come out of it ok, get a good manager in to replace him, keep Stewart, finish the window off strongly. But **** me does it have to be like this. Can we not have any periods where we can relax and enjoy our football without the club finding a way to take a sledgehammer to our mental health. In a bitter mood.
