The ideology was always there and still is. Hitler was just something else when it came to public speaking though. I can't remember anyone else in the Nazi Party that was even close to him in that department.
I think that his cult of personality and strength of will carried the German people further down that path than anyone else in his party could have done, i.e. the Nazis possibly would have still got into power but not started another war.
But like Farage, really. Have you seen the rest of the ****ing mutants that make up UKIP? He was the only one capable of projecting a credible personality in front of the cameras, without him no UKIP, no Brexit, none of this last three years of a country tearing itself apart.
Agreed. Heydrich, in particular, was off the chart. Also, there was a race to the bottom by most of his minions to outdo each other and demonstrate to Hitler who could be the Naziest Nazi of all. But at the end of the day, Hitler was still the focal point both within the party and the wider world. Had someone assassinated him, in say 1938, then WW2 doesn't begin. If he's assassinated after the fall of France then I think the German high command would have pushed the Nazis aside and carried on the war, but without the extermination camps and the more repugnant aspects of Nazi ideology. And had someone given Hitler MDMA then he the Germans would have probably been raving to the acid-jazz beats of MC Goering and Armand Von Boorman at the Ministerium für Ton.

Did coke a few times and remember almost every detail of the nights and vividly remember them being the absolute best nights out I've ever had. Definitely highly addictive and definitely sneaks up on you. ****ing everywhere these days, easier to get offered coke than someone buy you a pint. Heroin addicts are something I deal with at work and they're scum. I felt a bit of empathy before I started dealing with their constant thieving, lying, aggression and ODing. These people who work in these addiction centers, or work with them have the patience of ****ing saints. Something I don't possess.
