One thing that is for sure on that performance last night is neither Manure or Victimpool will win the title.
I think Klopp will leave early next year and become national coach, as for Manure they are unfit and was there for the taking the last 15 mins….. centre backs going down with cramp ffs, that Argie dwarf Martinez is a nasty piece of work, get at him and he will give a penalty away or even get sent off.
Had to laugh at Neville last night, I’m sure there was a wet patch where he had shot his load the soft twat.

I always look at corresponding games as a marker, last season we got 1 point from those 3 games. I read last week, any team in the PL that has got 8 points from their first 5 games have a 96% chance of survival.

Yep, ever the pessimist I will only relax once we hit the 35-40 point marks.

Might need 38 points this season as there doesn't appear to be any teams not capable of getting 30 points. It's early doors though.

Can’t see Bournemouth getting many having watched them against arsenal. They’re awful. Also liverpool on target for 26

So ladies and gentlemen of the jury...who's going down this season.

Bournemouth looked dead and buried after shipping 9 last weekend, sacking their manager and then being 2-0 down at Forest. However they turned it around and won 3-2 and now sit only a point behind us in 13th.

If they're the weakest team in the PL then it's almost certain to be very interesting come April/May next year.

Tough to call as it stands.

Let’s apply the ten game rule and see where they sit. Leicester and villa both in awful positions in table. Everton still haven’t won a game but not a cats chance in hell anyone of them will go down. We stayed up last season because obviously there were three worse teams than us but so far there’s nothing between about ten teams I’d say. I’d go as far as to say if we played brentford again next week result could be reversed

Villa last four games LLLD against City, I can't see them staying in the scrap as they have too much quality.

Leicester LLLL they could be the surprise package to go down specially if they get some injuries

Forest DLLLL they played some good football last season, have they unbalanced themselves with so many new faces

Leeds WLDL we concede for fun at times, always a danger. Forest is now a huge match as next up we are away to Man U. If we don't take maximum points against Forest we then have the probability of no wins in 5 as we leave old toilet.

At the moment I think we need to cheer on every team that faces Forest and Everton, they're surely going to be in the bottom six mix and I'll reserve judgement on us until after the Forest game.

Danger signs are we have played three teams who I thought could be in the mix to go down, Brentford, Southampton and Everton and we have come away with two points

Just realised only two more games in September, October is a huge month

Certain times of the season you get games that aren't necessarily must win but the result will have a big impact on how your season progresses and for me, Forest is one of those, a win, 11 points and we're sitting just over half way, which I'll take with both hands for the rest of this season. Lose and a difficult run of fixtures to come then it's a confidence sapper and we're relying on other teams to lose.

Bumping Jesse out before the winter break, it’s looking more likely

17th is looking like the best we can hope for this season.

If that were to happen we'd have something to build upon as we do have some good players.

I'm a fan of Cooper, but yesterday his mistakes did us in the end. Bamford again should have scored, but didnt. Why we didnt bring on Willy is beyond me. If hes good enough for Italy hes bloody good enough for us. I'm not saying he would have made a difference, but he might have. I didnt think we deserved to lose though. But that's life.:emoticon-0106-cryin

Exactly. At least give him twenty minutes at the end when it was obvious our level of performance from the first half had collapsed.

Just can’t understand why he wasn’t used.

No Shaks I couldn’t get a ticket this time as the Palace season ticket holder I know took his kids so didn’t have any spares.

Gnonto is the new joffy. Everyone seems to have given up on joffy as the solution to all our attacking woes and are now pinning their hopes on another teenager.

Willy looks a lively talent, and I’m as interested as the next guy to see what he can do but…

    - he makes the Italy team because they have a stack of striking injuries and a known paucity of attacking talent.

    - we got him for reportedly around 5m… about what we paid for gyabi and no-one else seemed interested. Whilst loads of other European teenagers were going for 10, 20m etc

Hope everyone remembers that if he doesn’t score a hat trick on debut.

In the second half when the team was devoid of ideas he at least should have been given some game time to get a taste of the PL.

Wasted opportunity to blood him in imo and he may well have created something.
