Ex Leeds United player, Derek Loadwick, has teamed up with the owner of Origin Live and TBC, Nick Westwell, to bring a bit of ‘razzmatazz’ to Batley town.

    Who?

Tuchel is a bad loser. Simple as that. Just watched the extended highlights from yesterday and we were awesome! Knocked them out of the park to say the least. Well deserved win, and stand outs for me were Adams (looks like a bloody bargain), Arronson (energiser bunny!) and our newest signing - Rodrigo (Is this is twin brother we have never knew about before?)

A fantastic day made even better by having my son's Chelsea supporting mate watch it with us. He was here for the game back in May too when they took us to the cleaners and when he first came in yesterday he said to me "Are you ready for another beating ?". Now, I must admit I would have been very happy with a draw before the game so I simply said to him "Don't expect another performance like last time" but wow what a performance we got and it was hilarious watching Chelsea boy squirm

I was a Bielsa disciple and will always be grateful for what he did for us but yesterday was time for me to draw a line under that period in our history. That was as good as anything I have seen during Bielsa's time. Jesse, you have my full backing and confidence now - don't let me down!

Tuchel is never going to say Chelsea were out thought, out fought and overrun. When the stat came up during the game that we had covered 11K more than them Ben said immediately "wow, that is like having an extra player" and he was bang on, that is exactly what it looked like. When Koulibaly got booked I said to Ben, we need to keep James, Arronson or Geldhardt if he comes on buzzing around him. Big lump who looks decent when allowed time to get the ball under control but has the turning circle and set off speed of a grain tanker. Thomas, despite your bullsh1t, a lot of Premier League Managers would have learned a lot about your team and how to beat them yesterday.

The only downside for me is, expect a very big offer for Jack to come in. Apart from when he ran out of steam for the last twenty minutes last week, he has been our best player for me this season and looks more and more accomplished at Premier League level. Please Radz, keep him at all costs in this window and, please Jack, prove Ristac wrong and do it consistently.

I wouldn't honestly expect us to keep Meslier beyond the end of this season either - wouldn't surprise me if any of the top Champions League clubs were looking at him now - fantastic young keeper.

Every single player was superb yesterday but I have to say, that is the first time I have really seen what Adams is all about and, wow, what a player. Was also a big Phillips fan but, again, I moved on from that yesterday. Genuinely, I wouldn't swap Adams for Phillips (I know it is only one game but he is so much more mobile and athletic, could become a top, top player).

Whether it is the Leicester model or Brighton perhaps (sold White, Bissouma and Cucaterra in the last twelve months but will still be extremely hard to get anything off), selling top players and balancing the books is fine by me if we keep recruiting as we appear to have - well done Orta and Radz - you both take a lot of flak but yesterday showed what we can be if you get things right.

Keep it up everyone, bouncing around still today!!

I just finished watching the 2nd half and what a performance! Even when we made 5 changes we were still the most dangerous team. Chelski huffed and puffed but what did they really offer?
I didn't remember that Sterling was even playing until he was subbed. Pulisic came on, I think, but did he touch the ball?
I know I keep banging on about Struijk but he was superb. In the 2nd half he made one great through ball and took a quick throw to set up an attack.

The thing about how we won was that it was down to hard work sprinkled with lots of quality. The way we close teams down as a group is going to be very difficult for teams to play us.

    I just hope it continues.

Having enough first teamers on the bench and using 5 of them means certain players like Roca and Harrison can do 90 mins worth flat out in an hour and then 5 sets of fresh legs can come on and replace them and carry on bombing up and down and pressing them daft. Commitment

No, it's too early for that. Let him carry on past January, no **** it, let him take them down then get sacked.

Marsch is a far better all round coach than one way Bielsa. I never did buy into the adulation. He knew nothing about the squad size required for the prem. His tactics were nieve and repetitive. I went off him last pre season due to his insistance the squad was ok.
The Derby spy thing was a joke. He made out it was normal practise in Argentina but never checked our rules. Then tried to look clever with that ridiculous two hour presentation explaining how he did not need the info anyway. For a man of integrity he sure dropped a big one.
I have read we had the biggest budget in the championship. To me he was just a fitness fanatic who burnt the squad out.
Three games in and the football is far better and has purpose and direction. My jessie has got the lads sorted and it's great to watch.

I don’t mind p*sing people off (I know I hide it so we’ll <laugh>) but is it possible to have a middle ground position? I like to think bielsa was perfect for us at the time and did a great job… but football managers generally have a life span at a club and maybe he’s better as an agent of change.

As for the current Jesse love in. Funny what a few results do. I think people are in danger of getting a little over-excited - but hey you have to enjoy a win over Chelsea.

I’ll stick to what I said when he came…. That I wouldn’t judge him on last lesson because he was in survival mode…

… and That I’d form a view after 10 games of this season. I’ll stick with that. We’ve had a promising start, that’s all it is, but it’s great to see an identity, organisation… and a side that looks like it’s going to make sides know they’ve been in a game.

Bielsa was the right coach at the right time. Improved a mediocre squad and got them playing expansive, exhilarating football. His methods were exactly what was needed to get us out of the Championship.

In the first season back in the PL teams were caught by surprise by the all-out kamikaze style attacking play. By the second season though Leeds, hindered by a horrendous injury list, had been sussed out by the better teams with better players - and Bielsa wasn’t about to change his philosophy.

I’ll always be grateful to Bielsa for what he did. We’d probably still be aimlessly floating around the lower reaches of the Championship were it not for him.

But it’s looking like Marsch was the right appointment at the right time, and the right coach for now.

All in all a couple of great decisions taken by the Leeds hierarchy. They deserve a lot of credit.

By our second season in the top flight, I don't think we had recovered from the 20/21 season. We looked knackered, even in pre-season.

    Afternoon All

Yesterday was a dream. It seriously felt better than staying up at the end of last season. I'm sat here expecting to go to Brighton and win. The confidence of the team after yesterday must be so high.

Regarding Bielsa. You all know I wasn't his biggest fan. Yeah he got us promoted but he never last 2 seasons in a top tier league.

Yes he got the best out of Phillips and Cooper bit the god like status he got was not warranted.
