I think the Elder thing probably did happen but people look too much at it. His best mate at the club had probably told him he’s off because of the contract situation (Honeyman). He’s then had a few to drink, spilled the beans and gone OTT on some elements of it all and the the guy who made the post has probably pushed the truth a bit too. I’ve never really got the Elder hate anyway. He was integral in the promotion season and he’s a competent championship left back.
Lot of Spurs fans seem to be suggesting that he was never wanted by Conte in the first place. Fortunately for Djed he’ll probably out-stay Conte with his track record and get his chance eventually.
A member of the media team would know that their job was at risk if they disclosed gossip to a "random" friend. Particularly a friend who's first impulse would be to put it on Twitter
Good riddance. Regardless of anything good that he has done...poor attitude (when being handsomely rewarded) sours everything.
If hes that good why hasn't anyone else snapped him up in all this time ???? How do we know others haven’t gone in for him and been told to do one? Hull weren’t gonna sell but Wilks has forced their hand. He’s best friends with Windass and Hull are tinpot. So the chance to drop down a league to play for a bigger club with your best friend is probably too tempting.
