I’m getting thoroughly pissed off with Saintsplayer through my Xbox. It used to work really well, but now, it just closes Microsoft Edge for no reason at all, you have to reboot the whole thing and start again.
It’s incredibly frustrating and I’m pretty sure that I’ll have no luck trying to watch the saints game later.
Luckily someone (can’t remember who, but thanks a million) suggested “Broadcasting Hut” which I’ve installed on my iPad and can watch (apparently trouble free - we’ll see!) on my iPad, but, as these days I’m virtually chained to my settee, I’d rather watch on the TV. First world problems I know, but what is it with Saintsplayer and Xbox? I have no idea - wish I could get Broadcasting Hut through the TV!!!

 

I usually steam and Chromecast or HDMI.

 

I think they are having issues across the board, recently, possibly since they developed a new app. I still use the old one, on fire stick, but wonder if they have taken their eye off the ball with time outs occurring more frequently.
Watching the Spurs v Wolves game on BT and I lost all live tv, about 10 minutes ago, whilst movies and series were still working. Back on now but…..

 

You can watch SaintsPlayer through your iPad it's probably more a software problem through your Xbox rather than it being the app.

 

Which app are you using on your Xbox Dave?

 

Oh I’m sure it’s an Xbox app issue, just don’t know what wise to use.
When they changed due to the Russian issue, they told me to use “lightning hosting” (apppanel.co.uk/web/lightning/index.php) then I sign in through portal “lightning” with username and password.
It generally works for a while, then either freezes or bombs out completely - sometimes where I have to reboot the Xbox by taking the power lead out and waiting.
Unsure what else to do
