He doesn’t actually seem too bad a bloke over the series in fairness but he’s seriously weird. Some of the team talks are just ridiculously eccentric. It may work with a young side which Arsenal have but not a chance the top tier players at top clubs would take in some of the nonsense he says.
Utd’s poor start has made them panic. Casemiro is a pure panic buy. Good player but will be interesting to see how he adapts to the PL and how he will cope going from Kroos and Modric to Fred & McTominay
Can’t help but feel this is a massive panic buy. Great player though. Gonna have his work cut out protecting Slabhead and Frodo.
Millwall are currently losing 2-0 to Norwich with about 10 minutes left. In their last game they were 2-0 down to Swansea until the 93rd minute. They equalised via two own goals. I don't think I've ever seen that.
Its all official now. Like I said earlier, huge panic buy and not sure how exactly he fits the style of ETH.
I think he is there to replace Fred and McTominay. Van de Beek and Eriksen are the Kroos and Modric equivalents.
No denying he’s a great DM but will he fit the high intensity and pressing game that ETH wants. In theory he should help the defence and also link up play for the likes of Eriksen and Bruno but I still think it’s a panic buy without much thought put into it
You have to remember that he benefits from BMP. Brazilian Midfielder Protection makes them immune to cards, for some reason. He's one of the worst for it, but Fabinho, Fernandinho and Thiago are also good examples. How he stayed on the pitch against City last season is beyond me. please log in to view this image
That's neither. It's just a really blatant shirt pull on a player with the ball. No way that a ref can possibly miss it. https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/uiews8/casemiro_takes_down_foden_32/ Hauls him back, then fouls him with both legs and doesn't even get a card! Should've been about his 4th too, IIRC. Just blatantly bent officials.
You think Fergie saw him hitting women and ignored it? I expect this kind of thing from scousers but not from you.
I think Ferguson tracked what his players were doing in their social lives. I think that because he ****ing told them: https://punditarena.com/football/robredmond/alex-ferguson-united-keane-darren-fletcher-2/ https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/man-utd-alex-ferguson-spies-26008606 None of those "spies" ever saw Giggs doing anything wrong? Yeah, alright...
I know he tracked them, it's common knowledge that he went to at least 2 house parties and dragged both Giggs and Sharp out of them. It's also common knowledge that Sharp was thrown out because of his love for cocain (even though he was a better winger than Giggs). Giggs has admitted to being a womaniser (couldn't resist women i believe he said) yet nobody else has piled on this like they have with so many other cases to hit the headlines. Fergie has known him for 30+ years, has he been with him every second. no. but i suspect he has a bit of an insight to the man and has heard more from others at the club who socialised with Giggs. I am definitely not taking a side on the court case because i believe self important footballers are capable of anything, what i am doing is defending SAF as an honourable man with values that go beyond football and certainly beyond any loyalty felt out of need for a players services.
