Smashed??Strange description! Sounds as if it's been laced with copious amounts of alcohol and can't handle the drink.Over flambee'd might've been more appropriate..

'Smash' burgers are a thing for the old codgers question it. I would be more concerned with the £12.50 price tag. Fcuk that.
I'm more concerned that a modern day outfit is still producing menus using Letraset. You never get enough 'e's. Their attempt at urban hipster speak is fooling no one. Edit: Or enough pound signs neither.
(True) Had a pattie and chips yesterday dinner, and the guy in front ordered fish and chips. The chip shop were doing an offer of free pattie and peas with every fish and chips. He said they were for his Glaswegian wife and she doesn't do patties, 'but they'll fry any ****ing thing up there, Mars bars, pizza etc', I just had a wry grin.
Wry Grin? You'd have been better served having a 'Dry Gin'. Fried pizza is the norm in most chip shops up here but Mars Bars are reserved for the more exotic chippies in places like The Gorbals,Easterhouse,Ruchazie and Possil!! Edit...Patties are horrible.
Tasty pattie yesterday actually, oh and I'm in agreement with 'someone' on here that gin is for women and knobs.
I had heard good things too so went the other Friday evening at 20.00 only three tables in use all night .I wouldn’t rush back either
Went with the Mrs few weeks ago and really enjoyed it, both of us thought the food and service was excellant. Different strokes for different folks - if you do go I would recommend the caramelised stew pot. Also recently been to Johnsons on Humber Street - the tomohawk steak is a joy to behold
I struggle with Johnson’s because I can’t disassociate it from the dry cleaners. Their first signage looked similar to cleaners to.
Possibly, and the lightweights mix it with all sorts of other things to try and drown the actual taste of the gin.
