Same, also love his competitiveness. Too many modern players let their heads drop too easy, he has a real resilience. Yeah, he has the odd poorly timed tackle, no where near the dirtiest player in English football.
Gone very quiet on Bennette not seen too many our side report on it either wonder if it was just a way of getting his name out there?
Neil’s press conference expects two in sooner rather than later and before the mad rush at the end of the window
Two in before the rush means we are going in to the hectic back end still wanting 2/3 more with what Neil wants. I think they're likely to be players at the higher level and we are waiting for the domino affect to kick in to make them available.
Did enjoy the reporter towards the end asking about the impact of Bradley wright ‘who’s Bradley wright’ absolutely love Neil
My Man City supporting mate after seeing the play-offs said "who's that guy you just pay to run around and kick people? Love it - you need someone like that."
That my view too. switches off, readjusts, shakes his head them goes again...You can't have that happening in games.
I'm happy and glad Patterson has earned his place in the team... "then goes again", love out like this...
Nah, I don't think so. I like 09, mate. This will probably be coming across in the wrong way. I don't like players that go around trying to hurt other players and for me it's as clear as day that's what he tries to do. He's a decent player if he could just cut that ****e out.
The thing is if players kick you you kick them back. That’s what it’s like in a competitive game. I’m sure they aren’t innocent. It’s different if you’re wiping out a Messi type player. I’m sure they give it out. Better he’s competitive.
I'm familiar with playing competitive football. I agree if people are giving you little niggles and digs, give them back. That's completely different to going out your way to hurt somebody. You don't need to try and injure somebody to be competitive.
As I say depends what they’ve said or done first. He hasn’t snapped anyones leg. They’re just competitive fouls.
This article explains a lot about how transfers happen and how player's minds work ... ... it's not a case of 'just pay a bit extra', the players are like big kids following a lollipop and making huge decisions based on f**k all They clearly have zero loyalty and very little integrity ... ... that's all very well if you're the Prime Minister but I expect better from football players “I was a bit cautious about going [to Swansea],” he told the Evening Standard. “To be honest, I’d heard Swansea was a bit of a s***hole. “I went to sleep thinking I was going to do a medical at Crystal Palace,” he recalled. “I woke up the next morning, went into Swansea, walked into the gaffer’s office and he was like: ‘Look, West Ham have been in contact’. “It just feels surreal, really. I still can’t get over that I’m here, it’s mad.” Read next: "The bigger picture looming large at Swansea City and the transfer situation that's now reached crisis point." https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/west-ham-star-flynn-downes-24791218.amp
