I know plenty of folk saying be patient and don't get yer knickers in a twist about lack of incomings, we don't want panic signings etc. But to me if we get to last day of the window and we end up bringing a load in at once then they'll be the definition of panic signings imo. Plans D or E.
The problem will be that teams are waiting to see who they can get in before they decide who they can let go.
I realize that'll be the path we're going down, but as I said earlier it's a risky game, how long do you wait? Well into the last day and you don't get the players you want it's onto plans D and E.
It's funny, it seems Lingard on a one year deal was incase they went down and weren't stuck with a player on high wages, since then they've hoyed millions about like a bloke chucking tenners at a stripper.
It's going to cost us points between now and mid Sept is the bigger problem. Squad depth is wafer thin
I've honestly never heard of him. But with a double barrelled surname and the ludicrous fee I'd gues he's an Arsenal youngster
I understand a deal we said we could not afford 3 weeks ago is possibly back on, i think alarm bells are finally ringing. if i find out tomorrow i will post it asap
Sure I read we offered hector 10k and he said no so maybes going back in for him? Bob might have posted that info in fairness it all blurs into one
