Yeh and ppl in hell want iced water. We haven't got either Diego. We need a 30 goal per season striker. Not just for the goals but for the confidence to those creating those chances which aren't being finished. Players like Bruno, Rashford, Sancho are effected by it because creating those chances is a big part of their game. It also puts more pressure on them to score. And when you have that type of striker, those players start chipping in with goals. Besides, it wouldn't just be one CF, there's Martial as well so both would be rotated. We've got the PL, the Europy and the domestic cups to contend with.
Been missing for almost 3 managers now, hopefully he will show his worth this season. I always look at players like Elanga and Shoretire who (regardless of what is happening on the pitch or how others are behaving) always look to make a difference and never drop their heads. Forget the talent, we have that in abundance. Get the mentality right and we will be a team worth fearing again. Sometimes hungry youngsters can bring much more to the game than complacent stars.
Already been mentioned but I've been in the middle of the ocean so; Sir Jim Ratcliffe: Billionaire wants to buy Manchester United - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62584716 That would be a good start point.
CS has won though, because the de Jong deal might fall through (reports suggest!) and so he was 'right' all along. Bravo!
Hopefully we can start righting many of the wrongs this summer. It really has been an awful one. We can’t lose that next game to the scums.
I really don’t like the idea of going to other leagues to find defensive midfielders. That’s a tough role that if you’re not used to it, you will be left wanting. I would prefer a creative signing from some of the lower clubs.
Well, you're not actually right until he signs for someone else or stays at Barca, so let's just see, eh.
Well no, not really. You mean he's being offered more than he's currently on? Yes. Still half what we're paying Ronaldo. And less than the likes of de Gea.
De Jong situation is very simple. Not down to the clubs - whether it's United or Chelsea. It's always been about De Jong's decision to leave Barca. It's completely in his hands, his decision and for the past 3 months that situation has never changed. What we do know is that United have a deal agreed with Barca whereas Chelsea haven't even made an offer. The only thing we're assuming is that United and/or Ten Hag have some assurance from De Jong. That's it. No point speculating anything else on it until either De Jong decides or the window ends whichever comes first.
it looks like it’s happening. I can understand the overpaying as when you are in the **** you have to accept it and act. No point burying your heads in the sand and pretending it’s not happening or hoping it will go away. Let’s hope that TH is able to put some sensible strategy together and build team spirit. At the moment there is a sense of panic buying,
He wasn't going to come for peanuts, so it had to be done. A winner, at not far short of peak, who can hopefully combine well with Fred as well. If we get a forward on board and Ronaldo off the books, it'll probably have to do for this window.
