    You'd drop Harrison for James?

Tricky one because I would have at the start of the season but he was suspended so Jack got the nod and has done enough to keep the position. My argument would be that I’d have already given him that run before this season.

If Jack repeats every previous season so far then he’ll have that bad spell and run of poor games very shortly, that’s where and when I’d give James a chance. I just think we’re destroying his value playing him out of position.

I’d be up for selling either of Jack or Dan and strengthening elsewhere and using Summerville as backup but it’s not that simple as signing an attacker or striker seems beyond our capability

£25m for Dan James was a total waste of money and I thought that at the time. Good player but has never been played in his proper position, and was never going to dislodge Harrison - so what was the point when that money would’ve been better spent in other areas?

I like Dan James and not his fault he hasn’t been used to his strengths but a very strange signing.

I think it was the start of the undoing of Bielsa.

We’d activated the clause to sign Harrison the same season so over £50m on two players for the same position neglecting other areas.

Throw in Firpo and the loss of Alioski (who was actually far better) and it was an even poorer and more damaging transfer window

Firstly it's not James fault that he is played out of position. Secondly TBF to myself, I don't think that I was as vocal regarding those two ex players you mentioned as others were. Although Firpo is not helping his cause IMO. But I must add to show how ridiculous some supporters are, they've even had a go at Meslier, Harisson, Cooper actually most of the team have been attacked over the seasons. FFS you only have to go onto the matchday thread to see how quick posters get on the players backs if things are going to ****. <ok>

The money should be reinvested into the bars inside the ground and get some decent ales in and back into plastic cups, also lower the prices and return to be able to pay cash or card.<ok>

But I’ve never said it is his fault, I’ve always said a player doesn’t go out to intentionally play bad. I’m amazed to be honest that both Bielsa and Marsch continually repeat the same mistake playing him as a striker.

I rarely hate any player even after they have left, I’d have Charlie Taylor back tomorrow many wouldn’t. Long ago I detached myself from the belief that any player plays for a club for love over money and success.

Erling was lining up for City the other day, I said to my wife his dad played for Leeds, he supports Leeds and was born there, my wife replied “why doesn’t he play for them then”.

<doh> That’s why you should never talk about football with a woman. I’m sure she wouldn’t want your opinion on doing women’s hair and how she should run her salon <laugh> <whistle>

Believe me, I’m always giving opinions on how to run the salon.

We brought a second hand back wash from a place in Brighton once, “The Pink Pamper”. They had a guy there who charged something like £150 to go to peoples homes and tell them what clothes to wear together, what was in and what was out.

I said sarcastically I bet you’re busy, “extremely” was the reply, booked solid for the next three months… Needless to say when I suggested I could do this my wife disagreed
