Some people have given up on the league already. In fact, some appeared to have thrown in the towel before we started.
We have a smidgen of a chance of getting a point IF Martial returns... and we score first. Other than that expectations are let's just say, low. Anyway to who it may concern... whatever the result I won't be cutting and pasting anything for cheap potshots at Sucky.... no matter how hilarious I've learnt the errors of my ways
Bit of a lose lose this one. Win and everyone says well yeah it’s United you should win. lose and it’s 2 points from 3, no wins and suddenly massive crisis
Mate, nobody told me you were wumming sucky. I'd have donated an even better rant for that. If you are hoping for martial things must be bad The reality is once we are off kilter it takes weeks to get back on it. There's a lack of match fitness imo and we'll get handed another brave draw here.
Hate to be ever the pessimist, but I can't see it being the resounding smack we gave them last season. They're hurting from two consecutive defeats and I'm afraid our lack of finishing might let us down again. Not expecting much tbh
I met him in a swamp down in dagobah Where it bubbles all the time like a giant carbonated soda S O D A, soda I saw the little runt sitting there on a log I asked him his name and in a raspy voice he said, "Yoda" Y O D A, Yoda Yo-yo-yo-yo Yoda Well, I've been around, but I ain't never seen A guy who looks like a muppet, but he's wrinkled and green Oh, my Yoda Yo-yo-yo-yo Yoda
I thought it was you. Well, things are bad. I know it was only pre-season but the link up play between Martial, Rashford and Sancho was promising and at least demonstrated Ten Hag's style and what he's trying to deliver. His injury scuppered that somewhat right at the start of the season. On your last point, I'll put it like this. When we were a great side playing under Fergie, every time we played City, no matter how **** they were back then, I knew we'd have a difficult game and they often got the better of us...because they managed to keep things tight, got in our faces, were well organised, stifled the game. They knew their limitations but players like Dunne, Mills, Thatcher, Sinclair at least played with pride. When you're crap, that's what you need to be like against your biggest rivals to get anything out of the game. We just don't have ANY of that, so I wouldn't worry about being off kilter if I were you tbh.
Draws are as good as defeats when chasing Man City. Already 4 ahead of us and I don't think we will see them again this season.
well thinking positively we didn't fold in these games. We fought for the points we got, two fightbacks. Whatever about others and all that, we still dug in even if we are playing poorly compared to what we want to deliver.
Points wise, obviously a draw is closer to a loss than a win. Three draws, same as two losses and a win. Top of the table as you say, can't afford a lot of draws.
"highlights" please note that the best moments we see early on has a certain someone wide. first chance he tries to find diaz in space on edge of box. Right idea poor ball. Elliott takes it and tried to make something of it. Second chance nunez does well dropping off the defender to make the far post angle but he ****s it. Third chance trent find salah. again trent is wide and finds salah with a quality ball and salah doesn't even get it close to on target. on 30seconds we see the type of issues we are seeing. Trent jogs at the slowly dropping ball and fabinho just makes a total mess of it. this sets the goal in motion. This is barge into the guy before ball drops and take the cheap foul territory. its just not good enough and look at the break that one behind. 2 men central with nobody having any hope of getting near. next chance. elliott from way too deep but nunez has again found a space wide and takes it down but ****s the shot. I'm fairly sure we are missing about 5 decent plays including one from trent narrow in this highlight reel. We are missing robertson running into no 9 slot as well. we should be finishing better but the thing is of all the times trent ran in the middle he failed to get in the highlight really, but he stays wide early and has 3 potential assists? My view is we need to see the cheap foul we won't get a card on to stop these breaks dead in their tracks and we need to stick with the basics. Diaz goal is from the sideline FFS. what a run.
