    Great all round performance.
Looked like football team tonight, they fought like **** for each other.
Sykes gave the referee a decision to make, sometimes it's yellow but tonight it was red.
Thought Conway and Wells were excellent.

The performance we needed, at the time we most needed it, was on glorious display tonight and full marks go to the entire team. I have warmed up to both Massengo and Vyner but still feel DaSilva is still a work in progress but there were stellar performances by the entire squad and I ask what got us to that point, was it the set or the players and was that squad on display a part of any Plan B? I have to go back quite a while to remember when I saw such a solid full 90 minutes+ and in fact I would say we were brilliant tonight and it has to continue and the whys and wherefores will fall our way on our path upward.

Didn’t see the Sykes incident. Saw him fly in but thought more yellow for both. But could be wrong if studs were up.
No idea why bring on Martin as I thought both Conway and Wells held the ball up better.
Should of put Kane Wilson on for Scott and put Weinmann in the middle with HNM.
Every time the ball went forward it came right back at us like most games Martin plays.
But glad when whistle went clean sheet and good win.
Well done the team that started all played well, and with speed.

    Summary

Nige got his first eleven correct.

    subs were perfect.

Football was attacking and great on the eye.

    Naismith man mountain tonight-MOM

    Special mention

Thought Messengo had a cracking game.

Conway going to be something special.

Wells took his chance tonight and had his best game for us.

Atkinson was tremendous had a fantastic game.

Fantastic display either Luton have imploded on last season’s playoffs and are by far the worst team we have played so far in the championship.

Cardiff Sunday 3 points and league position will look a lot better.

Nathan Jones said Luton were second best throughout, and that he had picked the wrong team.
I'm not bothered about any of that, but I am chuffed with the very welcome 3 points last night.
Well done Nige and the lads !

To be fair Nathan Jones is black and white says it as it is.

His player of the season last season Naismith was his best game man mountain last night.

There was another incident in the game which can be seen in the highlights where a player (Wells I think) was free and totally unmarked on the left, but Massengo fails to spot him and plays it right instead. Frustrating!!

Manager self preservation, subtly stating injuries and got the team wrong .. actually means we got well stuffed by a better team and I failed in my job

    Angelic check Cardiff predictions!

Massengo last was fantastic so I will let him off for not doing that pass. Really difficult to pick a mom, it was a well balanced team all fighting for each other.
Also that save in last few minutes which took a massive deflection that Bents had to adjust quickly was superb. As was Atkinson who followed the shot and save to get rid of the ball of the toe of their forward.

2 very well made, and well taken goals. Top save from Bents in the second half with the deflected shot. Clean sheets breed confidence. Bring on Cardiff!!

For me, the difference first half, at least, is how much more Wells compliments the attributes of Conway and Weimann, so much more pressure on the opposition defence when he is upfront rather than Martin. CM has his attributes, but I think that our style/players are better suited to what we saw last night, passes in behind to exploit our pace, not long balls to a target man. This will be even better once AS is back fit and on form.
