Sorry, off-topic question but realise here is a more likely place to get eyes.

What happened to fatletiss? Is he still on here under a different name or did he stop posting?

I was much less active for quite a while, but just occurred to me that I can't recall seeing his username for quite a long time.

He stepped away last year for a timeout, hopefully one day he will pop on again.

That's a shame, good guy. I saw Fran's name flash up on a thread the other day. Good to see some of the original 606 usernames drifting about still!

Not sure how comfortable I'd be about us selling Romeu. If Diallo had performed last season like he did in first season I'd be more open to it, but he seemed to go backwards.

Yeah it’s a shame, really liked his opinion and views.
And Fran is part of the furniture, like the rest of us :)

Will be gutted to lose Rom. A true servant to the club and a brilliant player. I don't know how Diallo is seen as his replacement

Not sure Diallo is, at least anymore. We were linked with Garner a day before this news came out. Suggests to me that if Rom leaves we will add another CM. Plus we have already added Lavia.

I don’t think he really is. We have 28 senior players and, ideally we need to get that down to about 20. If a player’s preference is to leave then we should negotiate to that end.

Regarding that last sentence - where have you got the idea that he specifically is his replacement ? If anything Lavia is. Leaving aside that we have needed cover in that position for a while

I know it is the Sun and the Daily Mail (two sources I would not be keen to trust and have already said as much) but perhaps this is why we avoided Dennis

If there is anything in this then I’d certainly an odd signing for a club that is has signed / is signing two more strikers and have a really promising one of their own who has started both games. Some of them aren’t going to be getting game time

Oddly, he messaged me the other day specifically mentioning that he'd had a look at the forum (and that he regretted looking).

He's very well and enjoying life (I'm lucky enough to see him and his other half a few times a year; top people) but he appears to be significantly happier away from here.*

    Vin

    * I am too but I'm weaker-willed than he is.

A lot of love for Romeu on here. Feels a lot like when Yoshida left.

But be honest, how many of you on FM sell Romeu within your first season? (Same as Yoshida.....)

Can get paid quite handsomely for Romeu on FM.

From when I last played FM Romeu was useless unless you played him directly in front of the defenders in something like 4-1-4-1

You couldn’t play him in anything other than defensive midfield.

Thats good and also a shame. I find this one of the most even handed and generally good places around. Disagreements are normal but they are de-escalated pretty quickly.
