We actually look quite good this half, we look balanced and closing down well.. working hard imo.

Without a shadow of a doubt that was the best 45 minutes I have seen from City for many a long day. The whole squad looked totally up for the game and the flowing football was a sign of confidence all over the pitch and we made very few mistakes. I hope this forward moving and thinking carries on in the 2nd half to take us past the fulltime whistle with a well earned 3 points, or should I zip my mouth? Surely not!

We look decent - so far.
A real energy about us and Naismith looks a good footballer, perhaps on occasion a bit too much.

Good first half, Naismith and Wells both shouting and guiding the kids.
Naismith went ballistic at Atkinson for not going wide earlier.
Great pass by Scott for the first goal.

I meant Weizmann with the assist. Conway scored. Impressed with Conway

    Good. 2 goal cushion.
We know that we can concede as we always do and still be ahead.
Well done - but let’s hope we try and push for a third and not sit back deep.

To be fair Nige got it right tonight.
Let’s hope he gets the subs right.
More pace going forward tonight-Tommy Conway looks a handful up front.

Boo boys another quite night tonight <laugh>

    What happened
Sykes got caught late and reacted in frustration, although to what extend is relatively unclear but the officials saw something. Freeman then shoved him to the floor and that sparked the melee.

Drama here, what's Pearson going to do now?

    Sykes sent off!
The referee has sent Sykes off! It was an incident off the ball so I didn't see what happened... Two Luton players have gone into the book.

    Pearson is far from happy.

A red for Sykes that I think was probably deserve by going in too late and from behind. This will now really test our resolve and we need to stay focused and aware like at no other time in a good game. Sykes basically lost his cool and went in hard.

You are funny, if not predictable.. Nige gets it right when we’re winning, players are sh!t otherwise..
with 10 men, Pearson with his defending background needs to get the last 15 mins spot on..

    A back five
City are playing with a back five out of possession with Vyner on the right and Klose, Naismith and Atkinson in the middle with Dasilva out on the left.
