Plenty of time left to make some signings, selling clubs will be holding on for as much as they can get.

When the window gets closer to closing they'll blink.

It's not like we are trying to get bloody Choudhury on loan ha ha

I see we dodged a bullet in Jan. Carlos has ruptured his Achilles. That's a long time out

I'd expect Liverpool to hijack the Matheus Nunes deal after Sporting and Wolves agree a fee much like they previously did when Spurs were very close to signing Luis Diaz in the January window.

Seems nailed on to wolves he looks a top player.. The other guy looks decent also and It'll be a tough game.. Tbh they're all tough, but looking at nufcs next 3 fixtures I think it's likley they'll lose them. 3 points would be a good return tbh.

See Ekitike got another run out at the weekend...brought on as a 90th min sub to run the clock down a bit.

Hudson Odoi on loan is happening.

    I predicted this in May.

Not sure on CHO, genuinely - haven't seen enough but Tuchel's comments about both long term injury and other long term "issues" doesn't sound great. i'm aware there's a lot of potential. Pulisic has looked better, if we're trying to pick Chelsea squad players.

Hopefully we'll see some movement this week. At least if it's CHO or Pulisic, they can be in the squad ready to play.

So we're bidding 20 mil for a player who got 3 Prem goals last season and we're miffed he's not for sale? Urgh.

Why could we literally pick and choose at will in Jan but we can get Jack **** now.

In other news it's Moussa Sissoko's birthday today. The useless lolloping twat.

Need to find out who does the transfer negotiating for Notts Forest, they seem to be doing OK on that front.

Seems odd we've been 'linked' to about 7 players in the last week, yet onky bid is for this guy, who on paper doesn't look like a prolific striker. Can't say I really noticed him for Watford last season.

    Ummm..... Yeah.

Strikers we want from Watford are Sarr and Dennis, I had to remind myself who Pedro was.

I just wanted us to stop taking players from relegated teams full stop. Surely we can set our sights higher these days? Especially when we are looking for 1st teamers.

Our recent transfer activity does seem a bit non-productive. If that's what the potential selling clubs are thinking, then maybe that's good, and they'll drop their oil money tax.

I do admit that I thought we'd find it easier to sign a playmaker/ goalscorer.

There's still time. Let's stay calm and look down at the relegation-fodder Mancs, who are currently at the bottom of the league.

I still think our main targets might depend on other activity, especially with Chelsea. If they get who they are after, then it could free up players like Gallagher, Broja, Hudson-Odoi. I can see us going in for them once Chelsea are happy to release them. Just hope things move along quickly.

Dennis and Sarr are decent first teamers and were obvious stand outs in the Watford team.

Yeah Man City ain't gonna move for them any time soon, but they'll be worthwhile additions and add more firepower. Both definitely Prem standard players.

They already sold Dennis (to Forest) for £20m and I didn't think that was a great signing (wouodn't be top of my list). But at least he scored more than Pedro. I just can't see why we are bidding similar money for Pedro - and that Watford are rejecting. Doesn't make any sense.

My concern atm is that Wilson seems to be the only one getting into the box when we cross the ball. Makes it hard for him to score and wingers to get an assist. When Wilson put in a cross at the weekend no one got near it.
We need to assess our tactics to get more into the box when we create or we won’t score enough whoever we sign.

Absolutely, If Bruno is sitting, Willock and Joelinton need to be busting a gut to get in the 18 yard box when the ball is high and wide.

Likewise, wingers should be anticipating to come in back post when the ball is coming in from the opposite wing.
