Premier League ref Darren England up on Saturday at Reading.
Not done many City games. Notably a 3-0 win at Huddersfield a few years back.

Ref for tomorrow night is Lee Swabey. I can't see we have had the pleasure of his company before.

Looks a bit of a journeyman ref who has never refed a Championship match in his 8 year EFL career.

He has been in charge for 8 Pompey league games in that time. They won them all. Not a good omen.

Also fine 3 Pompey cup games in various competitions. Lost 2 of the 3.

Will give him the benefit of the doubt until we see how he performs.

I see one of my ex-Christmas card friends, Kevin Friend, has retired. Cheerio!!! Pity Stroud and Hooper didn't go as well. Hooper did a prem game at the weekend. WTF!!!

Denied a blatant pen and then down to 10 men.
Plus has anyone ever seen a ref with a hair band before<diva>

Mr. Madley' history with us going back 8 seasons to 14/15.

    11 games, 6 wins, 5 defeats.

    Best win 4 - 2 v Birmingham in 19/20.

    Biggest defeat 1 - 3 v Liverpool in last season's Cup.

    A 0 - 2 v Wendies, first home game 20/21 wasn't a good result.

Going to be a draw then. I can't recall any good or bad about him. Anyone else enlighten us?

He sent off rather harshly a Sunderland player in our 4-0 drubbing of them in Warnock’s promotion team.

He gave us a mystery penalty in our 4-2 win v Bham and sent off both Danny Ward & Harley Dean.

He failed to both send off Liverpool’s keeper last season and award a penalty for a foul on Harris.

Good background Nin. I missed the Sunderland one.

Clearly dislike him for favouring Saltypool.
