Slow start but got a par 4

 

Four today.

 

That was a Kernt that one. Par four in the end

 

Struggled to ‘a last throw of the dice’ 6

 

After one of each on my first guess I had a choice of two places for the vowel within it, so after a little while I decided on a 'nee chance' guess and ended up with a blinking eagle

 

5 today. Had two options for a 4, but took the wrong one.
Can't see anyone failing this one.

 

Ha. Also 5. I had 3 guesses with 4 greens. Took the gamble and got there in the end.

 

Three. After the second try it’s pretty clear that it’s going to be one of those with far too many options. Luckily got it right quickly today with no yellow.

5 here too, choice of two on my fourth go but went for the wrong one.

 

Beat the missus 3-4. First go one juicey, one hughie, four hughies second go and thought it could only be one missing letter and I was right. Pleasant change from recent days when I haven't really had a clue.

 

What a pain in the arse this one was, had it in 5 I thought, I wasn't laughing when I got it in 6.

 

Same here! Got it in 5 but also had 2 choices for a 4 and took the wrong one!

 

Could have been a par 4, but picked the wrong option so left with a tap in for a bogey 5

 

I did. 86 streak gone. Had three in the right place after three, as well.

 

Three juicies on my first go, including what turned out to be the first and third letters (if you've done it you know), and an educated guess gave me another eagle . . . . get in
