You're right but it would only be temporary until we get Rabiot/FDJ in and then when Martinez returns to CB, Ten Hag prefers Maguire on the right? Tbf it's never going to happen is it. You don't buy a CB when you've identified it as a key priority and then not play him there. I'm going to ask the question no one's mentioned (or have they I can't remember) but is Martinez height a problem in the PL?
Sorry mate, i took the rotation to be who played which position as in "fluid" Still think it's a good 11 though
Only if the PL has a high proprtion of unusually tall strikers. The man has played in the Dutch league and more importantly the CL and has a very good areal duels won percentage (68% i believe).
How do they alternate in forward runs if they're rotated? Will they tag each other off the bench during forward runs?
There could be a couple more "rotated" in that team if Rashford and Sancho don't buck up. Elanga, Garnacho and Shoretire are waiting to pounce and maybe Pellistri fancy's his chance.
I've got a slight issue with this team, if not the line up. I genuinely think that Rashford, Shaw and Dalot shouldn't play for the club again. Preferably ever. Not sure who right back then is, I admit. A traditional full back would be Wan Bissaka. I'd like Laird at wing back but off on loan again I hear?
I like your formation but not keen on Shaw any more. Malacia should start and if Shaw wants to play he has to fight for his place. In fact there are a few in that squad should be made to fight for theirs.
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/aug/15/manchester-united-midfielder-james-garner-leave-15m ****ing hell, talk about backing the wrong horse (if true). If any midfielder should be shipped out it's Scott McShit.
It could well be Forest with the offer, he did well there and is probably valued. I am surprised that Ten Hag not looking to give him a chance given how ****e the current alternatives are. Hopefully it points to us making a certain signing.
Disappointed tbh. Maybe the likes of Iqbal and Hannibal are more favoured by Ten Hag to bring them through. Would've preferred him to go out on loan again. Maybe his age is going against him and the club feel he should be allowed the opportunity elsewhere.
Talking of loans, another out is Ethan Laird, which also baffles me. Ten Hag clearly doesn't rate AWB and Dalot is a mediocre right wing back at best.
I hate to bring this up again, fellas, but it is critical to let Ronaldo go before the transfer window closes. Anyone that denies that he is not happy being in that squad and now has negative impact on the team on a whole is either be delusional, or even worse, is choosing to remain negligent. Diego will come back asking me for proof!
