Or maybe Pelkas does not want to commit to anything other than a loan till the outcome of the season.
Why do we care if it’s a loan or a transfer as long as we get them through the door? If they get us promoted we can make them permeant if needed
Halil, Woods, Pelkas (presumably from what we know from Turkey) and a right back seems to be the initial final targets list from what Baz has said today.
IF we get those signings done, and Greaves stays, then with a fair wind (incl better luck with injuries) we surely must be in with a shout this season
Consistency is the key to getting out this division, grinding out a 1-0 out of a typical 0-0 etc....... I know it's a cliche but it will also depend on how the overseas signings shape up on a freezing cold midweek game away from home as well. Interesting times ahead

Forest have taken their net spend to over £100 million this summer in transfer fees alone. How much did they get for winning the play-offs?
It isn’t what you get if you win the playoffs it is what you get for being in the Premier League which is a fair whack even if you finish bottom. More sponsorship, TV money. You get more for finishing bottom of the PL than you do for winning the league in a lot of other countries.
Just shows what promotion is worth. Which why I was wondering why Kalman seemed to think Forest were spending an inordinate amount of money.
I mean, they still are, aren’t they? I’ve never known a newly-promoted club to spend that much in one window. They’ve spent a lot more than Fulham and Bournemouth. I guess they have to spend more to improve their squad but it’s still a lot for one window.
In the game today v West Ham, they only had 3 players in the starting 11 that played in the play off final.
