I have a Perfect Draught and it's great. Never bought a can or bottle for in the house for over a year. Jupiler, Stella, Spaten and Lowenbrau are my favourite lagers, Heated Seats the best ale I've tried.
Plastic pop bottles will take some pressure mate. Better than most modern thin crap glass ones. And I wouldn't want shattered glass everywhere unlike plastic lol.
sounds great (and cheap) but I couldn't be arsed to do all that. quite happy to change kegs (30 seconds) and carry on drinking.
Thanks to all who took the time to advise/inform about the various beer machines. I’ve decided on the PD. Now, do I go for the original, cheaper model or the Pro? 3 degrees a bit cold for my liking - sets my teeth off. But then again, if I’m drinking outside it would be a hot day and the beer wouldn’t stay cold for long. Likewise in the house the heating would be on therefore the same result. I think the only valid argument against the original model is: would I have the patience to wait for the beer to warm? Decisions, decisions! It’s a tough life. Original,I think.
Randon. Beer hawk have just started up there refer a friend scheme. Got an email today. If anyone is wanting a new machine , I can pass on a code. Will save you a chunk and I'll get a free beer too. Feel free to drop me a message.
