It's amazing how all the hard work he put in before hand made him so 'lucky'. Hopefully he's going to be sniffing out a few more like that over the season. It was hard work well rewarded.
Safe travels JEx... lets hope you're having to book an unscheduled ticket back sometime around May...
That's my hope, certainly will be back before the end of the season whatever happens all being well, and hoping for a positive reason.
Re tactical formations: I did enjoy listening to Shotas internview with Burnsy on Humberside, in particular liked it when Burnsy asked about the change from 5 at the back to a 4. "Well. I really do enjoy checking in with the boys on not606 they have some really good ideas, I know Tan gets most of his transfer ideas from the boys on there and Acun loves to check where his jet is when he feels lost. i had been playing 5 at the back since thats what Grant and Ehab told me was best for the players I was left with, but the boys on 606 made a compelling case for a 4 so I thought what the heck I would go with that." See he listens to us
There were a lot of empty seats in away section of east stand , unless they’d gone mad on segregation!
It was described before the game as a sell out of away tickets. Thought the same as you regarding the gap.
Whats the point in having a massive gap with the more sensible east stand and virtually no gap between the pissed teeneagers that there's been issues reported with before? You net off at the point you want segregation as well. You don't leave a full block open for people to run into if they want. Looked to me like they just didn't sell out, which is no shame. Most teams this season won't at ours.
Thought the same. Surely you put them in the corner first; wasn't that part of the idea in the first place? (Still say it should have been NW corner anyway, and just sort the configuration issues once and for all).
So,how will we ever have a full stadium? One aisleway segregation at Chelsea v Spurs and elsewhere at the weekend.
I just wonder if Acun said to only allocate 2000+ to their fans to minimise their numbers, yes, they sold their allocation, but obviously didn't fill the stands. But agree it would be best to move the away fans into the corner rather than where they are at present.
Acun couldn’t do that. As far as I know you have to give 2,000 tickets or 10% if capacity is higher. Some clubs give more, whole ends holding 4,000 or more if they can be sold. The police can insist on a smaller allocation for games where they consider there is a high risk of disorder. What happens if we get great success? Are we going to be turning people away whilst having hundreds of empty seats? It doesn’t happen elsewhere.
? I'm meaning to have them fill the corner section (the middle of their allocation) first, then if they sell more than that section of the NE, then to start filling in either side of the middle of the NE. Why have them effectively behind the goal still ( ok, it's just a bit to the side) and big empty space in the NE corner? Should anyway be NW corner and ideally with a 2k limit.
Won't the gaps be filled by away supporters once the West Stand Upper is open? In the meantime I don't think they'll fill the seats earmarked for away supporters when all seats are available to home supporters.
