i expect someone already said this, but i've probably missed some pages. rotherham and blackburn play their 3rd games tomorrow.

blackburn need one point to pass us.
a rotherham win will put them ahead of us.

Yeah. We know. They've got to win 'em first though haven't they?

    Bah Humbug.

But they still need to avoid defeat. And I'd still be delighted with second or third after Bristol, Norwich and Preston away. 7 points from those 3 is solid whatever stage of the season, especially this early and we can only develop/gel more.

League tells a story a bit different to the armchair gloom predictions after Peterboro in pre season and Bratfut in the mickey mouse cup.

Early days but cautiously optimistic. UTT!

Yeah. He did OK. Better than OK in fact.

Also thought his presser should have rebuilt a bit of confidence with the fans too after the Brewdog episode - which there was more truth in than you publicly acknowledged at the time.

Good man-management that. Putting him up for interviews after taking a preferential scalp.
    I thought so anyway.

i agree. to even be top momentarily when we know we're still a work in progress and probably haven't quite gelled is good,

But Acun is skint. We should be offering Honeyman and Greaves Seri and Tufan money, Shota's Mr Bean, its all ****ed.

Well it was yesterday morning anyway.

And its so obvious to folk living 5000 miles away its all going tits up already, so we should probably just write the season off and just hope we can re sign some average championship players just to survive, 'cos we were **** against Peterboro and Bradford.

Come on fella, we're Hull City. We've gotta **** on our own all the time to justify not going until the we reopen the upper west, and provide concessions to over 65s, offer pay on the day (which we already are) - seriously, that was a call to humberside a couple of days ago...

Holding a player to our valuation is cheapskating and disrespectful, our owner is obviously skint cos Google says his personal wealth is lower than the Allams, and despite criticism for Covill getting game time, if we sign any more we're ****ing the youngsters over.

And God forbid we sign an u19s keeper cos that means Ingram or Baxter are on their way out...

    Get with the programme... :emoticon-0102-bigsm

That was a ****ing brilliant result today, I was so happy.

Estupinan is exactly the striker we’ve been missing for years.

Now if only we could get Acun to go out and buy Morelos, we’d be super sorted

We're sorted anyway, with a bit of patience and breathing space. And 3 or 4 additions which was always the plan by Sept 1st.

I'd rather cover positions we're lacking depth than spunking on another 'A-lister'.

But then let's see where we are squad-wise in a fortnight. And again after getting long-term injuries back in Jan.

Was one of the most enjoyable games I've been to in years. Credit to the boys. Credit to the fans. Credit to Acun who was in botanic again today. We've got our ****ing club back.

Don’t agree with you here. Morelos really would be incredible, plus playing with a fellow Columbian would only make him better. He scores, he’s amazing with build-up play, incredible at holding the ball up back to goal, honestly, he would be the dogs bollocks.

So would Messi. What makes you think he's a realistic target?

Not dissing the idea, just it's a link out of nowhere.

You can keep your 'love button' to yourself. Or perhaps loan it to Askew for his night rooming with Den. He might need it.

Howden tigress is already buzzing away. She keeps a fridge in her knicker-drawer apparently. Good way to stay cool.

And Syd hasn't argued with anyone all evening...

****ing good day. Back home just after midnight. Kid here had the bbq on so grilled meat to feast on and we're off fishing tomorrow.

Happy ****ing daze. ****ing mint Saturday. Gotta enjoy 'em when they come along.

Haven't been able to find mine since about 2003. If I did now, it wouldn't be without risking snapping it on a long drive at least <laugh>

    Sad but true.
