There's a serious point here. Imo, the smaller and less fashionable the club, the more genuine the fans. Even before the penalty, the Chelsea fans at LR recently had as much raw energy as a vicar's wife watching a chess competition. Fulham fans were the same until after their fourth goal. If Tony and Amit take us to bigger things, are these the kind of fans we'll import? How do we become a bigger, more successful club and keep the same atmosphere in our ground as, say, Man City have?

I wonder how many QPR shirts would be sold in Malaysia, just because of the Tony Fernandes connection? And that is the whole point! Beckham is a global brand....wherever he plays, the shirts fly out of the window. ManUre and Chelscum have supporters all over the world because of the global marketing of the Premier League. Whether HB likes it or not, a second AND subsequent seasons would see us go global. We'd become a well followed team throughout Asia because of the afore-mentioned connections. How many italian Chelscum fans are there because of Vialli and Zola? Dutch because of Gullit and Hasselboink? (Sic) This is what football has come to mean, these days, and if you cannot see that as a future for ANY promoted team, then you have very poor eyesight.
Outrageous! QPR fans are the most genuine in the world! I have been watching soccerball in the EPL for a long time and I can honestly say that the Rangers bluesocks have always been the team for me. Defense! Defense!
