We have started the 2nd half looking more like the bad Bristol City as we are faffing around in our own half and it's only a matter of time before we collapse and give away a goal. Get back on track is the order of the day right now otherwise the 3 points could be in danger.
Poor miss by Conway on a great set-up and the gods aren't in our favour. The drinks break will change things I'm sure, but who for?
usual scenario get intosecond half and get worried about losing so other side gets all possession ... possession = opportunities to score .. 12 mins to hold on to a draw funny my pre season predicted a draw!
Two league one sides in Sunderland and Wigan coming up and we have been battered in both. Worrying times ahead. Two homes games next week need 4 points minimum. Pressure starting to build.
Generally an away point is good but only if you win your home games, and we don't. My summary on today was hope followed by the usual squeaky bum stuff and frankly I think we went from a good 3 points to a somewhat undeserved single point interrupted by a drinks break. I can see clearly that a lot of players didn't want the pressure of getting the ball in case they made a mistake and if they did get possession they were bereft of ideas how to use it wisely. Our entire formation shakes visibly when put under any kind of pressure and the mistakes start to build up to such a crescendo that we always look like conceding and that's what has happened on far too many occasions. As I said earlier we need to change the script, or the author, but I am seeing big holes in our whole system and I don't think we have the right pegs to fill those voids and unless we shape up now we could be in for a very long hard campaign. Rating 5.
An away point isn’t the end of the world. However the game once again was there for the taking. Once again we are dropping too many points from winning positions, it’s worrying, unless we turn things around quickly I don’t see this ending well unfortunately.
