Looks like we're stuck with the 3 CBs experiment for the time being, hopefully we can create enough chances to win but it's understandable that there won't be a lot of high press, fast tempo with the heat in the stadium today.
Which likely also explains why Elyounoussi is starting over Aribo. Who very much suits high tempo play.

Has it occurred to you he's factored the heat into his team selection? A fresh Aribo brought on around the hour mark could cause havoc. He hasn't been binned.
Not just me then. Gosh some people are determined to see the negatives. Even indirectly criticising the return of Adams that people have been crying out for all week. I don’t understand

To be fair, I understand why people think that someone being left on the bench can mean they're not rated, but in other sports (particularly NBA, for example) the concept of 'starters' and 'finishers' is commonplace. Pep believes in the same thinking (helps when you have a fortune to spend!)

Being able to bring on Romeu, Aribo and Mara is hopefully a way of making an impact with our changes in the heat.

This. With 5 subs now available this is even more of an issue. If Ralph waits until 75mins today to make a sub then it's fair to criticise him. He needs to be proactive with his bench today.

Ralph even spoke about this last season for FA Cup games, explaining his line ups would look different to if it were 3 subs because of the increased opportunities to affect the game with subs.

Where did I criticise bringing back Adams. I just merely commented on the randomness of his selections. With the strikers we have I would play Adams. It just has little logic after refusing to even bring him on at Spurs. And the speed with which you guys like to criticise fellow fans. Jees…

And with 5 subs that concept becomes even more important. I’m fine with that team, and 3-5-2 is fine in this heat.
