Early this morning: windows open so seagulls woke me at 4.30 and traffic at 7. 26 degrees in here but air pressure down to 1012mb from 1016 this time yesterday, there be a storm coming Cap'n.

Just trying to be helpful......seeing you have trouble with teams starting with a B....I just thought I help to keep your stress levels down.

Do we know if games have ever been cancelled because of excessive heat.....or even stopped because of health dangers.

Home Park might get a slight breeze from the sea....I was thinking more of big city teams....such as in London or Manchester.

Here in NW Kent/S London the temperature can be pretty high......the greenhouse at 7.30 am this morning registered 110F ( 43C ) with the sun on it of course....that is with an automatic window plus another window being open....can't leave the door open because of foxes.........The car was registering 98F ( 37C ) ..........and the room thermostat was hard against its maximum 30C setting (86F ).

Surely all action attacking teams are at a disadvantage at a time like this.......Argyle are down Charlton Tuesday evening....not sure at my age I should go. even after parking the car there could be up to 2 miles to walk to the Valley.

 

over here when mega hot they have drink breaks every 15-20 min

 

I think they will be doing it half-way through each half today.....that is what happened during pre-season friendlies.
