Depends, do you mean yielding as in giving way under pressure? Or yielding as in to make a financial return?
I went £140m+. Still might happen, **** only knows what's going through their heads in the boardroom, they might be happy with what we have, it's their choice and they've earned that right. I do however reckon there will be one or two in Saudi saying "WTF is going on - look at what Chelsea are doing and they've been making losses and not earned a penny for 6 months." That is all the legal precedent anybody needs to go blow **** out the water. PL, La Liga and UEFA really don't help themselves, off the top of my head Barca, Chelsea and PSG should be banned from European competition as a bare minimum.
The Chelsea one is probably gonna be interesting in a yea or so. The sanctions and lack of income aren't going to have been declared so their 3 year cycle probably looks ok right now. How it will look after the figures are published is another matter
Don't forget they spent F All for a couple of windows when they were embargoed and also sold some high value players (Hazard for example)... I'd be surprised if even this amount of spend is shafting them.
That deal could have, and surely will have been amortised over a number of years. Was 130m wasn't it? Essentially though, over a 3 year window, they're still good with that fee now, and spent naff all for a couple of years.
You went 90-110 right? Also incase of loans with options to buy, are they included in the purchases for this year if they sign? Still think Paqueta and another in so 110+ is going to be on point #ITK
