Rob Edwards has confirmed Tom Dele-Bashiru will be out for 2-3 months after suffering a knee ligament injury in training.

Did he not do that a couple of years ago as well - hope it is not the same knee?

Reading away, the first game of the season, he looked absolutely superb before his injury in that game.

Don’t think it was the first game but close to it .

Was an ACL injury which kept him out all season unfortunately.

He has struggled to make an impression in the Premier League, but he has been more successful in the Championship. He offers a physical presence upfront, but he also has a good touch for a big man. He can hold the ball up and bring other players into play. My one concern is his goal scoring record: he is now 24 years old and has averaged only 1 goal every 10 games (approximately) throughout his career, although he did score 5 goals in 21 appearances for Nottingham Forest.

Yeah, 5 in 15 in the Championship. And he went to the same school as Ashley Young. ;)

So did Lewis Hamilton but I don't want him in our attack. He can drive the team bus if we are late to a game, but that's it.

First impressions suggest that's a fair enough valuation - but then I'm always mindful of Wayne Brown, who shone as a loanee but turned out to be something else after signing permanently.

Brown by name, brown by nature - well, performance, anyway.

    More cash coming in?

To be honest, I think I'd rather we had kept the player.

Think he was one who wanted to leave after relegation.

And to a top club in Spain too.

But was disappointing he never played for us .

He did play in a pre-season friendly against Spuds a couple of years ago - had my hopes raised by looking extremely useful but sadly left shortly after that.

I never know who to believe. After rejecting Newcastle's £20m bid for Pedro, the club announced that they didn't have to sell, and had no intention of selling him. Now I'm reading on a Newcastle site that we've upped the asking price to £30m.

Sky have reported that talks are underway. Not sure how reliable they are.

    Asset seem to be off.

This might well be a massive shift in players this transfer window.

How can we turn down that amount for Pedro?
