First Olivia and now sadly Raymond Briggs has passed away. Two wonderful, honest and talented people. The Snowman and When The Wind Blows are timeless classics. Who can forget Ravey Davey Bowie introducing The Snowman on Channel 4 in 1982 resplendent in white jumper and peroxide hair? When The Wind Blows is a wonderful, poignant and, at times, very humorous interpretation of the ultimate human induced apocalypse.
And let's not forget Pingu’s original voice actor, Carlo Bonomi, who has just died aged 85. It's the end of an era.
When the Wind Blows is excellent. The Snowman very moving and I can barely watch The Snow Dog as my little white dog has a red ball and she’s getting quite old.
Not at all Fingers. It's a celebration of talent. I don't expect you to comprehend as you are so full of hatred and bitterness. I almost pity you, almost.
Are you ever going to get over the loss of that digit? I truly do fear for your well being, honestly I really do. Find peace and contentment in yourself. It's not right to be so angry at the world all the time. Best wishes. Love ER
