Hmm, he was our best CB last year (I know, low bar) so dropping after him 1 big mistake would be strange - especially as the other CBs didn't exactly cover themselves in glory.
Hmmm. Debut for ABK I reckon. If he does well great, if not it should send some signals to the board that we need a decent CB
It really depends what the coaches have seen from him in training. You can only pick the partnership that looks strongest. I like Dark Lords original lineup though as we are at home, I would not be surprised to se 4-2-2-2 starting position with JWP and Lavia in front of the back 4 and Aribo /Stuey behind Adams / Adarma
I get that, but that doesn't change the fact he was our best CB last season. You can't just ignore his good form of last season whilst taking into account the mistakes. It is frustrating and has been my biggest criticism of him since he signed. He plays brilliantly for 89 minutes and then makes a stupid mistake almost every game. But he is still better than anyone else we have.
Baz Kwp ABK Salisu Perraud Jwp Romeu Aribo stu Redmond Adams Very important game. I'd go with this team as it's got experience and a chance of scoring
It’s interesting that no one has gone with the three CB’s at the back, would put money on Ralph sticking with the disaster of a formation
I agree Sally’s our best CB. But he’s broken and he needs fixing. I think it might require dropping him for a few games to do that. If he knows he has to fight for his place, then he might just start putting in the extra effort that makes him top quality again. Last time Ralph benched him, we beat Arsenal 1-0.
Ralph isn't going to bin off 3 at the back after 1 game... Bazunu; Abk, Bednerak, Salisu; Kwp, jwp, lavia, Perraud; Aribo, Adams, S. Armstrong
No, but he might well look at the opposition, see that we are at home, and think 3 is overkill. It’s not like you have to choose one formation for the whole season and stick with it.
I can see it now… stood with my pre match pint, opening my phone to see a ****e team selection and being deflated before entering the stadium.
There's your answer! Don't look at the team selection, just wait until you watch the team line up, then guess what formation Ralph had decided on this time.
