Would Hull really be that interested as they seem to be buying players from all over the world ? We do seem to be linked to him a lot!
Not sure West Brom were lacklustre. We might have been but that first half was as one sided as it gets. West Brom are definitely lacking in the clinical finishing. department.
Yes - they had the same issues last season too. Well taken goal but after Grant had missed 2/3 chances.
Forest can just pay 20 million etc if they really want him. We don’t need to sell apparently so why agree to a loan move?
I normally dismiss articles such as this - "5 free agent attackers Watford should target" - but the last one mentioned would certainly be worth a punt in my opinion - former Celtic striker Tom Rogic. He was a bit of a Parkhead hero until refusing a new contract recently. https://the72.co.uk/2022/08/10/5-fr...d-target-if-sarr-or-dennis-leave-this-summer/
Just goes to show that despite the board saying we dont need to sell that in truth we do. Poor negotiators I think.
Nothing to suggest this is more than another Twitter rumour for now . Apparently the guy who tweeted it doesn’t have a great track record on rumours. Infact supposedly Sky have said we still want 30 million for Sarr.
What we are seeing now is middle ranking clubs such as Leicester saying they cannot afford to bring any new players in until they get their wage bill down. Some will still take the chance and buy in, but unless you are one of the very rich a more realistic approach is maybe taking over, and player values are dropping in an effort to move them on.
Looks like the rumour mill is in overdrive now. https://motleedsnews.com/transfers/leeds-united-joao-pedro-watford/?amp
I'm not sure that is really credible. Written by a TuttoMercatoWeb journalist who cites his source as his editor? Why on earth would we want to loan out Pedro when he is probably our main weapon in the quest for promotion?
Pedro and Sarr aren’t going to Leeds on loan .. But Forest will be offering 20 million for Dennis is seems.
Sure. They would have to put a sizeable chunk of cash on the table. How much £ is he worth to our efforts to get back in with the big cash? Far more than we would get from a sale, let alone a loan deal!
