Lamont Dozier, has died aged 81. Tamla Motown fans will know this man as he was one third of possibly the greatest songwriting team ever, viz, Holland, Dozier, Holland. They produced so many hit songs for most of the top Motown artists. RIP.
Raymond Briggs, the author and illustrator of children's classic “The Snowman” passed away aged 88. RIP
Josephine Tewson, who was the former wife of Leonard Rossiter and known for her acclaimed sitcoms, has died aged 91. RIP
Virginia Patton, who played Jimmy Stewart's sister-in-law, Ruth Dakin Bailey, in the classic film It's a Wonderful Life has died. She was 97. RIP
Former England, Middlesbrough and Southampton midfielder David Armstrong has passed away at the age of 67. Armstrong, an attacking midfielder, holds the record for the most consecutive appearances by a Boro player - an incredible 358 in all competitions between March 1973 and August 1980. RIP
