Rubberface over the road saying he's gone to Wigan, after being adamant that he was coming to us last night so dunno what's gone on to suggest a big U-turn.

Can’t see Broadhead coming on a permanent, will more than likely extend the Everton contract and go out on loan.

Wonder if he can last more than 4 weeks before picking up another injury. Games come thick and fast this season in the championship, especially with the winter break. I’m intrigued as to how he’ll do.

Wouldn't be against us signing McCarthy. Could be a similar scenario to Pritchard, player losing his way a bit and needs to resurrect his career. No better place to do it.

Are we still in for him anyway. Did we not give him a deadline which passed and then we brought in Simms

Look like they could forge a really good powerful partnership together, not many centre half’s will fancy their chances when them 2 line up against them. Both got great engines, good in the air and can finish.

Fair play to Bob like, consistently stated that the Broadhead deal was likely off, and now it looks like he’s going out on loan to Wigan.

As I mentioned last week, it has dragged on to long and if he has ended up at Wigan so be it.

I'd rather have players like Jack Clarke who no doubt have took a pay cut, wanted to join and be part of the club.

Thanks for last year and all that but we move on

I’m not even sure it dragged in from our side. Bob told us there was a deadline a while ago and we moved on. It’s more likely us supporters have kept it going more in hope.

after the bristol city game i was thinking LND looked happier than for a while, maybe he would be happier as 'not being main striker', he might be the type that can play and prosper while simms gets all the attention.

i do agree however, that simms is looking a stronger player, fair enough it was one game and we could argue his first goal probably should have been saved but i feel the signs were there that this lad is not going to play second fiddle, he is on the pitch to show what he can do...and first impressions tell me he will do just that.

Fair play to those saying Simms is better. Hope you are right. I have seen much more of Broadhead so can only judge on what I have seen. Simms had a good game so fingers crossed. Broadhead is a different player though, and I reckon some teams will cope with 2 similar strikers quite comfortably. We neee a different type.

There’s not many defences that will cope with the work rate, movement and pace of Stewart and Simms! They won’t give them a minutes piece, especially Stewart! Look at the first goal on Saturday!

Agree with you here mate Broadhead is a completely different option to the other two, on top of that I think his finishing is excellent.

I'll be disappointed to see him go to Wigan on loan, especially when it seemed like he would certainly here on a permanent.

Stewartstown biggest asset for me is his hassling the opposition back line. He never stops for 90 minutes.

    WBA V WATFORD
Anyone watching. Apparently Watford have to unload a forward ( financial reasons?)
Apart from his goal Sarr does look a handful 13 from 39 in his last full Championship season.
