Agreed.. But the squad is still probably short of 3 or 4 automatic starters... Then we should see what we will see.
You deserved the win second half you dominated us. Different side came out second half and you wanted it more. Good luck for the rest of the season. Not seen that away end that full since Leeds well done.
Good luck mate - you look a decent team, it's great to play real football again in a decent league - just a shame about the refs
Fair play mate. I agree too. Different side second half. Neil must have torn arse at half time. Every player had another 20%. Even Evans improved significantly.
Good luck to you as well. I've got to say I've been so impressed by how fair and friendly your supporters have been. I always take a good read of the fans forums for a good week or so before each game and Bristol City are by far the fairest, friendliest and most objective out of any I have read. Really hope you pick up some points and have a good season.
as i said elsewhere, you are a very good passing team and will cause quite a few problems to teams, luckily we got to grips with it but you were getting in behind too often for my liking...sort it out in front of goal and i think you will at least be safe.
Cheers... Had a look at your forum... too soon for doom and gloom... like us you just need to strengthen your defence... Granted we have some useful forwards
You will find out this year they will get a lot worse unfortunately, Keith Stroud is one who loves to be the centre of attention.
I'm away, so just watched some highlights and read this thread and other stuff. Couldn't have hoped for a better start really. That is a young team , and going up a notch in leagues is an ask. Goals, points and being genuinely competitive is vital to get as soon as possible, it always is. Usually look a threat now when we get into gear, and the players will feel that too, so we should be in with a chance in most games. Some good signs there alright. Probably only three of them over 25 anarl!
PL strikers often shoot through the keeper's legs as it's very difficult for a keeper to stop. They have to present the biggest target possible and that leaves the gap that good strikers aim for ... either side and there's a chance they'll reach the ball.
