Getting the negatives out the way first, I hope today urges the ownership and management that we do indeed need another attacking option, as we really struggled to break Forest down, despite dominating possession.

The fact that we needed schar to score a world beater was a concern.

Forest had nothing and were there for the taking. We look great defensively and in midfield, but need another bit of quality up front.

The team as it is will get top 10 at best if it stays like this.

Good, hard working performance. We won 2-0, I'm grateful, but not happy with how long it took for us to score, and how our attackers only really crafted 1 goal against a Forest side there to be beat.

    We need another attacking spark

    Ratings

Pope - 7 - Nothing much to do, but composed

Trippier - 7 - Clean sheet, not much from him but defending well enough

Schar - 8 - Shakey defensively at times so cannot give him higher than 8, but cannot deny his last ditch block and goal.

Burn - 8 - Solid defensively as usual.

    Targett - 7

Willock - 7.5 - Was a big threat today, tonnes of energy. I thought he'd definitely score at some point.

Bruno - 8 - Beautiful passing, was involved in so many good attacks. MOTM.

Joelinton - 7.5 - Good assist and good performance.

ASM - 7 - Did well, some good dribbling and good energy.

    Wilson - 7.5 - Good goal.

Almiron - 7 - Worked hard as always, but lacked a final ball and dribbled his way into nothingness.

Im guessing you watched in the telly. Wilson was awful today, ****ing stinking bad.

Targett was quiet as game wasn’t played in his area, same can be said for Trippier,

Bruno was very very quiet compared to normal, Joelinton was mint and Joe Willock was canny.

Almirante tried as he does and ASM tried

Dominated game as they came for a draw and got what they deserved

My thoughts are we didn’t have anything to do defensively because our midfield controlled the game.

Bruno didn’t look like he did much because he’s a class above.

Willock put in a good shift and Joelinton covered a lot of ground.

Miggy and ASM caused them problems without an end product but I wonder if that’s because Wilson was very VERY static. He don’t find gaps and almost appeared lazy.

Good performance and result but a bit worrying it took Schar to score.

I also want to see Wilson’s goal again. How much did he mean it?

Wilson wasn’t awful. He was quiet but he still scored. If my striker scores in each match then I’m more than happy.

Also thought Bruno shaded man of the match from Joe and most things were going through Bruno.

Think Scotty was struggling to keep up with G “drinks machine” G today by the look of it. <whistle>

Managed to keep up pretty well. In fact I think I set the standard today.

Saying that he had to be picked up off the floor when Albert told him about his escapade before the Athleticco game

Thought Targett was poor, Trippier too really. Bruno quiet, Wilson not as sharp as usual. Willock and Joelinton good

I think Bruno was unappreciated. He made quite a few through balls and was good on the ball. Thought he controlled things in the midfield.

God, the positivity just drips off your posts!

    Seriously, can the negative bullshit!

We saw earlier today with Liverpool that the first game can be a shock, at the end of the day it was a dominant performance against a strong promoted team, and we got what we deserved.

I gave us mainly 7/10's not that negative. I thought the negative comments were justified.

No, the negative comments were stupid.

"we needed Schar to score a world beater was a concern"

No, it's isn't a concern, we were completely dominate and eventually a defender got a great goal. Why is that such a bad thing? If a striker got a scuffed finish would everything be great?

Can now control games with relative ease, think we are a strong side with a clear plan of action.

    Big change for us.

I must have watched a different match I thought the team was excellent.

It's not easy breaking down a side that's parked the bus and looking to counter.

Tash seems to be wanting to justify his "we ain't gonna finish in the top 7" campaign by desperately searching for negatives.

    We were great. End of.

Thought it looked like a top half side slapping aside a relatively weak one.

I mean, previous seasons it would be close til the last minutes.
