Nah that’s fine. Just stop the clock and add the time on again. So many stupid things like this that authorise moan ball isn’t in play but then won’t actually do anything about it. make it 60 min game. Stop the clock. Punish keepers and players that time waste. When ball goes out of play, a throw in you should have a 10 second clock that counts down. If ball isn’t in play by then it’s given to opposition. 20 seconds for a corner / free kick maybe
We did and we did not win the title The season we won it - how did we start the season ? I think that tells you how important the start is for chasing City down defo could have been worse but that is two points we needed imho
Allowing more contact should not include putting your studs in on someone’s ankle and it should always be a foul, even if accidental. It took Hendo out for their first goal and VAR should have picked it up
Interesting that a clash of your right knee would make your left leg stick out and both feet from disappearing. Whether you think content or not, the guy dived.
Would be fine with that I just don’t like the game being broken up when it could be a cracking finish
Didn’t deserve to get all three points. A draw a fair result as they fought hard and gave as much as they got. But having said that, still 2 points dropped as it’s unlikely our rivals will not beat Fulham.
Fuxake dude, just watch it again. Leg out, knees clashed, that's a pen. Virgil got stuffed. Doesn't happen a lot, but it happened today.
I don’t think I would have minded that if the ref had not handed out plenty of free kicks for similar challenges all through the game As always with me it’s the consistency fine with the pen if all pens are given for that amount of contact the problem for me will be they won’t and that’s when I will get irked thought Fulham played well enough but thought we were off colour. Need all the other potential league winners to drop points now - already
Definite penalty though. Disappointing from an experienced CB like VVD. He bought it from Mitrovic who did him like a schoolboy.
You can say there was contact and it was a foul but you can't say he dangled his leg out, he just didn't.
For me one of the questions from today is did Klopp get it wrong not starting Darwin ? Time will tell - the injuries are worrying
I don't agree it was a penalty but they get given. I wouldn't have expected it the other way around but would probably shout for it still.
I don't think so, Darwin definitely needs time to adjust. He's a long way off the pace of the PL atm. After a goal and assist today though, imagine how good he could become once up to pace.
That was always going to be given. A clash of knees, followed by a fall. Of course he bought it but VVD should be experienced enough not to fall for it. Gets given 99 times out of 100.
Not sure why everyone is questioning Darwin Nunez , he has played a part in two competitive games, scored in both and set up goals in both. He is ready.
Having just watched some highlights of the match, before we have a go at letting Mitrovic get his header in why are we not criticising Alisson for not being able to stop the header from that angle? He’s 6ft 3 and Mitrovic is heading back across at a tight angle.
