I read a whole load of posts last night and it made me realise what a bunch of **** stains our nearest and dearest really are. 3rd top, playing well, best defence and a striker in a rich scoring form. You can't knock it to be fair and they have a right to be happy. Shame then that the lack of class that always let's the craas down, shone through last night in droves. It's also why so many people and not just Sunderland fans, love to see them fall flat on their arses every time. Let's hope that all those that dish it out so easily, can take it back if or when it starts to go tits up. Be careful who you piss off on the way up barcodes, as you are sure to meet them again on the way back down. See you all soon then.
I like to give credit where credit is due: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/97918-Good-luck-tonight - and to be fair, 3rd is a fantastic achievement (they still smell though)
A bitter mackem??? Surely not haha. I am a realist Cest. I do not expect us to be anywhere near top 4 by end of the season, but with the form the lads have, the way we are playing, the teams morale and the way the crowds are at home games these days we are making big strides. Not even the most deluded of us (and i know you all love that word) would have thought we would be sat here. I, and probably 95% of the fans are just enjoying the moment. The bubble will burst and to be honest i expected Stoke to turn us over, but they didnt and that bubble keeps getting bigger, its fun not knowing when it will stop but i suspect somewhere between the two manchester games and Chelski..... then we play Norwich and Swansea so if the lads bounce back quick enough we could be in a very healthy spot by Christmas..... I seem to recall last season a load of posts from our neighbours over the water about yooooooooorope..... Then you went on a terrible run of form. If things have been different we could have seen a mackem in Milan this season.... but we havent, probably how you are so well placed to comment on the ones you meet on the way down, you got the t-shirt last season. If we can keep injury free and bounce back after playing the top 3 then there is no reason we cant nick that 7th spot and sneak into the europa league. For me that is the best we could do, top 10 is the target so 7th isnt a kick in the arse off, especially with the start we have had. There wont be much between 7th to 10th so its an interesting one. Long season ahead but we have made our best start in 61 years so you can forgive us for being a wee bit chuffed.
All this from the biggest ****er on not606, who is hated as much on his own board as on the NUFC board
If you don't like it you can always threaten to leave, do leave and then return a few days later with your tail between your legs. All toon fans would be happy with top 8 so wind your neck in, calm down and enjoy the season and the delights Steve Bruce has in store for you
nice to tar everyone with the same brush ....think that speaks volumes about you more than anything else
Didn't read the ones you wrote then? You were being as much of a ****er as anyone else yesterday Cestria. If you'd like to deny it, I'll bring up a couple of quotes .
Ah all my barcode bitches have once again popped in for a nibble. Just a couple of them missing but it wont be long before they do. Cant resist it can you. PS - I bet you wouldnt like to put hard cash on that statement about me being disliked by my fellow supporters on here would you? Absolutely any amount you fancy and I'll have a piece of that bet.
3rd top, playing well, best defence and a striker in a rich scoring form. You can't knock it to be fair and they have a right to be happy. Bitter? I'm telling it how it is. Well done for the results and 3rd place? It’s a fantastic 10 game position and it’s got nothing to do with luck. I watched your game and you bossed it for 80 mins away at Stoke, which in itself is no mean feat. Ba took his goals well too. 2 hat tricks in 8 games is a canny return. However, I can never be bitter about you or your club, as a dose of genital warts would be a joy to behold rather than be a mag, even if you were a Northern League team. Your league position, results in games, or even derby wins wouldn’t make me bitter, as the saving grace for me is that whatever those results may be, I thankfully will never be a mag. Hope that clarifies my position
Dave - you have had some luck on the way but you dont get 3rd place after 10 games through pure luck. I watched your team play Stoke City last night in a game you fully deserved to win and found myself in the unbelievable situation, when they pulled 1 back, of thinking Stoke dont deserve **** all for the way they played last night. The league table doesnt lie and if after 38 games you're still there and there abouts it will be a remarkable achievement but there is a helluva long way to go before that can be claimed. It would be totally pointless and incredibly churlish, for any Sunderland fan to say you're there on luck alone. There will be far harder tests between here and may 13th 2012 but enjoy the first quarter as we would have. Its fully deserved.
I think Stoke are anti-football, and I'm glad they've been taught a lesson by both North East teams to be honest. I hope more teams will do what we did last night and really take the piss exactly the same way they do. I don't think it's very likely we'll be even as high as 6th come the end of the season, but as long as we don't suffer an almighty collapse and drop out the top 10, then it's an improvement. We've still got Ashley who could uproot the team and move it to Portree and there's a whole host of factors that can spoil a season, but for now I think I'll stay positive!
time and again you let yourself down, how many times have you said you hate this sort of **** then do it again and again yourself
