Anyone know if he is actually returning this season?

I heard he delayed his return for personal reasons;his family was in Tunisia.

Read somewhere he is just back to jogging!

He's back running so thats a BIG step! But yeah, he was meant to be back on Monday, but it's the Monday after now (according to the Journal).

Be great to see him back. I just hope he hasn't lost any of his enthusiasm because of his terrible injury.

Pardew must be tempted to play him in a more central, attacking position when he does get back, given Guittierrez's form.

No need to rush him at the min!

when he's fit he's fit. If we rush him it could set him back

It'll be nice to see him back but I'm not expecting a great deal from him for the rest of this season.

Hopefully he can get back to strength and fitness during the summer and over the pre-season get some confidence going into challenges with his leg.

Next season he'll be a very important player.

Apparently he has returned to his family in Tunisia so he can be with them during madness of the political riots. When he returns from Tunisia he will be back in training and getting reserve minutes. He was meant to start training on Monday. Hopefully we will see his return in the Stoke game.

No need to rush him back though, we're in a fairly comfortable position at the moment.

I dont think we'll see Much of Hatem this season. We need to make sure hes back fit and ready for pre-season.

Much is being said of our ambitions and how we will spend the money but we must remember we have two excellent prospects on our books in Arfa and Gosling who we havent seen much of. For me these two give us a head start for the next season and might as well be 2 out of the 6 or so players we need to move forward next season.

Who knows even Stephen Ireland may get involved....

All may even help us towards a late season push for Europe with PL football next season all but gaurenteed imo.
