Afternoon guys looking forward to our first home game this Saturday with a 24000+ crowd including a sold out Sunderland end.
Should be a cracker with a good atmosphere from you and us.
We lost to Hull Saturday with a dodgy ref -get use to them in the championship absolutely shocking- with a dodgy penalty given to Hull and a 100% penalty to us not given then a last minute deflection that Bentley had no chance with from Hull.

you guys draw with Coventry who had a decent first season back in the championship last season.
How do you guys see this game panning out.
Safe journey to the guys and gals coming down to Bristol on Saturday.
    May the best team win:emoticon-0148-yes:

Gary Owers lives about 5 minutes from me -he is one of the ex players who commentates on Radio Bristol on match day.
He is one of the guests on the pitch before the game Saturday :emoticon-0148-yes:

I never realized Gary Owers settled down there. He is from my area (Washington) originally.
Was a good solid player for us in the 90s.

watched yourselves v hull as (no offence intended) i feel we should be comparing ourselves to those recently promoted/been here a while and certainly not with recently relegated clubs...if that penalty had been given against us i would be livid, really soft one and other than that and the wild deflection i cant remember them bothering your goal too much.

pretty much a 'regular' opening game of the season, two sides unsure of each other huffing and puffing around the pitch but i saw nothing to scare us at present...i am sure both sets of fans will enjoy the day and unlike coventry, we wont be throwing flares and 'other stuff' at your fans ;)

Good post -yep both sets of supporters will be a good atmosphere from both.
    Looking forward to it.
Hull and their Turkish players in my opinion were dirty-the ref lost the plot another ref would have been giving yellows and reds out thought they were a dirty side.
Let’s hope we get a decent one Saturday.

Speaking of Refs, I'm not sure if you know this, or if it made the news, because we had to watch something truly horrible the other day..... the ref.... he.... he erm, decided to ware an Alice band to hold his 50 year old Jack Grealish hair style back
