And how many Rovers or darksiders fans have you heard this from?
I'm both City and Rovers, explain that one.

Probably because we kept playing the footage from 2007 on repeat before kick off.

Do Bristol City fans honestly believe that we were lucky to win that game?

1-1 would have been fairish I guess but no way were they the better side, and the ref should have clamped down on time wasting much earlier.

I was in the south stand and saw their defender stand on his heel, which must have been painful, So a clear penalty for me, and the ref got it right.

You started time-wasting in the first half, with half your starting XI being on the deck writhing in pain only to make a miraculous recovery 30 seconds later. We had two penalty decisions in the first half go against us (one of which was a blatant shove with no attempt for the ball). Your centre-half then raked his studs on our player’s ankle about 5 yards away from the ref directly in his line of sight. We scored the pen and got a little luck in injury time with a deflection.

You Bristol fans are as deluded as you are bitter. Now **** off.

Loads . Though more FC than Rovers. Though I refer you to my earlier post about Liverpool supporting Rovers fans In the Queens.
Just because you support both doesn’t mean they all do. One of the lads who goes with Urika and TwoWrights and others off here is a big Rovers fan and has been for the 52 years I have known him. Always remind him he was at Wembley whilst Urika myself and 3,200:eek:thers were at BP watching us play Southend. Not that he cares less about that as it was a day that will live for ever right up there with our first play off final win.<laugh>

They didn’t. They were quite gracious in defeat.

I don't recall which player it was, but early in second half there was some stoppage so I went to the kitchen to make some coffee. I got back 5 minutes later and the guy was still on the ground rolling around... If they actually wanted to play ball, I would say 1-1 would've have been a fair score; but after what I've seen, **** that, they absolutely got what they deserved.

I know very few who support City and either Rovers or Fc , but I constantly encounter people who are massive Fc or Rovers but support a football team other than City too .The football team these people support is usually Liverpool , Chelsea etc or Leeds , but never the likes of Grimsby , scunthorpe or York .

To my eternal regret I was at Wembley also, (young and daft, I'm no longer young) like lots of things in life though there's a debit and credit column. In my credit column I was there for the Chester 553, and Torquay 1775 attendance matches. :emoticon-0111-blush

Haven’t read the thread so no idea what the general view was of Tufan. I thought he picked up the pace of the game in the second half and looked like our most dangerous player. He has some proper potential to be a star for us.

As we are talking about Bristol fans responses after today’s game and you are referring back to when we played them at Wembley who do you think?
