I was on holiday before the F A cup final (ours) and listened to it a bit. As I was fairly excited about the final and drinking heavily ( all inclusive)in my head, the bit before the chorus was come on city, come on Hull, and laugh politely at repeats, repeats became the l**ds.

Do I need counselling?

 

That is unquestionably brilliant. Unfortunately the Welsh have nicked it. I do remember we used to sing( only really heard it away) bread of heaven, with chips from carvers and pies from fletchers being other verses.

 

i must drag myself away from this thread and instead of those songs you mention i want to be attributed to this song. you simply must listen to the last minute from 1 min 40 ish. play it loud so people in the next street can hear it.

 

yup, but sadly there werent that many at away games to join in. there was as much singing on the bus on the way there. (on the way back everyone was pissed off cos we'd usually lost, knackered cos we'd got pissed pre game and were waiting for our turn to "read" the porno mag)

Brilliant...Heard before but got lost in my muggy head!..the Lionlasses in the dressing room pre match singing 'river deep mountain high' got me singing in my head...we've got the deep & a bridge so high.......we are city till we die (need more lyrics to keep it rolling along!)

Shorten it for the crowd as it’s too long at the moment , choruses are great then put a word sheet in every seat or whatever and tell fans that a practise at a certain time is planned - and get a well known local singer to demo it pre match
