Right i know a lot of you take the piss out of one of my sources. So i say this with a pinch of salt. My contact (yes yes) has said that we are "seriously" involved in a potential transfer for Sesko........
It wouldn't surprise me one bit. The RB teams buy in talent and develop them, often between themselves and their network of teams. When they sell it often isn't to the end user but to a team in the top flight who are seen as a further shop window for the big, big teams. So for instance instead of selling to Man Utd for 40m they'd prefer to sell to Dortmund for 30m and put in a % of profits of future sales clause.
Defensively solid. Going forward nothing. We won but it was a dubious penalty. Miggy was good. Anderson was good. Trippier was good. WOOD was WOOD!
We do. It was quite painful at times but they are a good team and they didn’t really lay a glove on us. We are actually not a bad side and we forget but we are playing in the richest strongest league in the world. I think this squad currently finishes top 9!
Not really... we'd have an average season (12th-14th) is my guess, if we don't add new offensive players.
Manchester United have met with the agent of Red Bull Salzburg's Benjamin Sesko over a possible move for the 19-year-old Slovenia striker. (Manchester Evening News) However, Salzburg want at least 65m euros (£55m) for Sesko, which is significantly more than what United are prepared to pay. (Telegraph - subscription required) Hmmmm.....
We want a creative midfielder, £40m or so available. Bruno: "I might know a guy...." NUFC: "Let's go for Maddison."
Newcastle United have made a £40m bid for Leicester City's 25-year-old England midfielder James Maddison. (Telegraph - subscription required) Maddison is set to be offered an improved deal at Leicester as reward for his impressive form last season. (Mail) Newcastle are prepared to trigger Burnley winger Maxwel Cornet's £17.5m release clause with the Ivory Coast international, 25, also linked to Everton, Nottingham Forest and Chelsea. (Talksport) Not sure about Cornet, but big yes please to Maddison.
