They just lie to suit their needs. When this is all over there won’t be one of them who will admit 110,000 signed a petition to be Saudi Rent Boys.
A Mag where I work, good lad & sensible in every regard, bet me £50 today that they would finish top six this season. I tried £100 for a top four which he mulled over for ages, because only City, Liverpool and Chelsea’ ‘probably’ will finish above them. Last season he was adamant that Joelinton is better than Mo Sallah….. Unbelievable really that an otherwise rational person can come to these conclusions.
Raises a few questions here, why a loan from a bank when the owners could put in an interest free one instead? That would be more practical, especially for any cash flow issues. Does it mean that some of the owners are unwilling or unable to inject funds?
I would imagine the figurehead Stavely is unable to put any money in seeing as she allegedly lent the money to buy the club off Mike Ashley.
It's not just allegedly, it's correct. If she fails to pay back the £30m Ashley would automatically become joint owner
I thought it was. I just didn’t know if it was part of the court case between the two and whether it had been resolved yet?
GOM from another place might be able to shed some light on this. I'll ask my mate, who is pretty clued up himself, but not interested in football now. Looks to me as if in some way, they are trying to circumvent the FFP rules. But that's a guess and I wouldn't have a clue as to how such a move would work
Cheers marra. Anyone else on here clued up about what's going on... https://www.not606.com/attachments/238090/
