The fact is he has been arguably our best player pre season. I am still convinced we need a CM instead of a RW. I said this weeks ago and suggested if we got a CM and controlled games Miggy would be released to play like he is today. Wilson has been quiet.

I think LW is more of a problem now, I’d seriously listen to offers for ASM if anyone comes sniffing around with £50m to throw at us. Not sure where Anderson’s best position is but if it’s LW id love to see him given a run. ASM just frustrates the ****ing life out of me.
It is what we need. This is our first real pre season game. I think Lascelles is showing us he is our weakest player. Miggy is showing us he can play and with a bit of confidence we will be fine on the right. Up top is a concern if Wilson gets injured. I WANT ANOTHER CM to fix our control of games and take the emphasis off Bruno who in the PL may have been sent off already!
Max is causing them problems... He's always going to frustrate because he's making high risk moves that won't come off all the time, but when they do newcastle create.
Same. There are people who think he is the dogs and maybe he is. But he is so frustrating. He is not a Howe type player. He is unpredictable i don't deny. He unlocks defences but may be seen as a luxury player. Anderson has been a but awestruck today. Its ok doing backheals against Burnley with no pressure and no fans. But he looks a little overwhelmed for me today!
I think it's a bit much for Anderson tbh, but good experience. Benfica ars a serious outfit. He's not getting much of a chance in the ball.
