Their you go striker problem solved and a snip at 50 million euro's, good old Orta top six here we come
I'm mentioning no names, I will let everyone else decide who that should apply to Although I put my NetFlights Shirt on the other day, and I think it must've shrunk over the years
Hope you’re wrong. If the newly relegated mostly stay up it’ll put serious pressure on a few including us
While not defending throwing stuff onto the pitch, I do think that the FA etc should make a statement to the players to remind them of their responsibilities as well. ie don't celebrate infront of home supporters and goading them.
Most of my mates (not Leeds fans) reckon we will really struggle next season after selling our best 2 players. For me it all depends on how good the replacements are? I think Brentford will be in a world of pain, second season syndrome and no Christian Erickson. Soton are always in the mix for relegation and Fat Fwank will be gone before Halloween after leaving Everton in the ****e. Add in the three promoted sides and you have 6 teams who hopefully will be worse than us. Fingers crossed
I hope I’m wrong too. I think a lot hinges on the next couple of signings assuming we make any. We’ve added average squad depth, we might have replaced KP with an alternative but we certainly haven’t replaced Raphinha, we never did replace Pablo or Roofe and we have no LB I think it’s a bit grim as it stands
i think Fulham definitely have a chance and forest also have a chance but personally I’d be staggered if both were mid-table. Forest have bought because they had no players. They’ve lost 2 of their 3 best players… Spence and garner… and half the rest of their team were loans so they are basically building a new team from scratch. Their manager did an amazing job last year… if he can build a team from scratch to get mid-table in the Prem then he will deserve manager of the season. I know they had very bad injury problems but Leicester looked a busted flush to me last season… both they and wolves were very flattered by their league positions. I don’t think either will go down but they could be this years surprises in the lower half of the table dog fight. There’s obviously still weeks left of transfer window for us and the rest of the rest of the league to strengthen. Despite how sh*t we were last season, on the expected points algorithms produced by several form tracking football sites we ‘should’ have finished above Leicester wolves and Newcastle. In our two pre-season games we’ve basically held our own performance wise against 2 sides expected to be solid midtable sides (palace admittedly missing their ‘flair’ players). We’re stepping into the unknown this season, and we need to get some firepower and a left back in… but there is room for cautious optimism, something I realise doesn’t come naturally to Leeds fans after our years of misery
Seems this has now happened https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...x-England-futsal-boss-Michael-Skubala-FA.html
That's fair comment. Where we will disagree is that in my opinion no amount of celebrating justifies throwing objects/missiles at players. What happened to just good old fashioned verbal abuse and jestures ? Probably everything changed with the Cantona incident thinking about it. Anyway hopefully Leeds fans cease with the missile throwing as no one wants to see supporters banned. Final thing, as I'm just thinking out loud here, where and how do you think opposing players should celebrate wehn they score at the Kop end given their own supporters are 100 yards away and there's also the distinct possibility the goal may not stand due to VAR ?
What they leave out of these reports is what the thoughts were after they have been watched… It could be scouts from these clubs watched him and thought nah overpriced or not good enough. It’s just a let’s get Leeds fans excited ploy trying to trick us into believing we can snatch a player wanted by the European big boys
On the subject of pitch invasions and fans throwing stuff. I would say a more serious offence of players throwing things at fans, or how about an Everton player throwing a pyrotechnic into fans area? Yes ban a fan for life for throwing a paper plane but let off an idiot player who could have caused serious injury or worse
