    No chance. Ba is a better all-round player and has a better goal ratio. Difference: Carroll is English.

    Not saying technically better but Carroll absolutely dominated teams for us.

    To be fair though - he was playing up front alone and with a team tailored to his style of play.

    But yeah I take the point about Ba being better all round. And like I said best strike partnership since Bellamy and Shearer.

    I get what you mean <ok>

    How I see it is that Ba is more useful to a team, but if you're suiting your team around a player, Carroll's more useful. I'd rather have Ba though <diva>

    Imagine Ba and Carroll together. One skilful and intelligent. The other a numb, effective battering ram.

    Still, think I prefer 3rd place and £30m+.
