I remember at the time his loan was announced one or two sources said he'd already signed his contract so it was a matter of activating the buy option. If I were to guess, the additional waiting period is to wait out some clause that Juve inserted in the deal to take him to Atalanta, so that Atalanta keep a bigger percentage of the fee
Suggestions are growing that Japhet Tanganga may be on the move to AC Milan, possibly on loan with an obligation or option. He's not getting the opportunities here, so a move is sensible all round, whether it's to Italy or elsewhere. Hopefully, he will enjoy better luck with injuries, wherever he spends the forthcoming season.
As long as there is a buy back clause included or it’s a huge fee in the first place. I’d rather keep him ahead of Sanchez and Rodon but I’m guessing he’s easier to sell.
He’d have been back at Atalanta if we hadn’t already signed him. Loan deal would’ve expired on 30th June.
He really needs to play football and as a HG player is also likely to be on a much lesser wage. If we sign a Dier understudy, which we're suggested to be looking at, it would make sense that Rodon will leave as well. That would give us... Davies Dier Romero Lenglet New CCB Sanchez That looks pretty darned good given where we've been since 2018/19, especially if we can nail signing Skriniar or someone of similar quality for the central role.
Tanganga is still young, I would prefer to see him loaned out to a lower Premier league side of championship side and then make a decision on him next summer.
Lowe generally plays a similar formation to Conte at Preston (though more 352 than 343) and he has somewhat of a reputation for being quite attack-minded so I wonder if that’s been a factor in the decision making to seemingly send Parrott there should the deal go through. They comfortably finished in mid table last season, 11 points behind the playoffs but 27 points above relegation.
Maintains the white kit consistency, too! Quite fitting, as we nicked theirs. Allegedly. Edit: Carrying on from this, it might be worth noting that he's probably replacing Cameron Archer. Archer was loaned in from Villa in January and started most games alongside Jakobsen. This season's kit is quite Spurs, too:
People were speculating that something was happening with Moura. The twitter bio was changed to "COYS COYS COYS COYS COYS" etc.
One last foray in the PL/CL, on the wages he is on, before a likely return to Brasil, is no big burden for the club to bear.

I’ll give that a watch. I watched the Conte one before the Rangers game, has an Amazon: All or Nothing feel to it but compressed into one episode instead of a season, was pretty decent. Watched the one about the Lane the other day too, again not too shabby. Haven’t watched many of the bts pre-season stuff yet but feel like the club needs to do a few more of those documentary types to make it feel worthwhile paying the £35. A decent start though, hopefully the Lucas one is a good watch too.
PNE is a big club with high expectations for the coming season, so it’s a good move for the lad. I did a one-off scouting job for Ryan Lowe last season when he was at Plymouth and he left a good impression on me. He’s bright, innovative and hard working and I feel Parrott is in good hands here.
